[SPEC] Contacting "Runners" - Coby3's Sign?

Since the auto-response from DomeCentral states that Coby3 is no longer a citizen, how would we contact him? Is there going to be another website to pop out of this? Do we have other emails to figure out? These are just questions I have because obviously you wouldn't have the email "imarunner@cityofdomes.net", or "killmothercomputer@cityofdomes.net" for netcentral mail. Do we have to do further digging? or do we accept the netcentral mail to be an unbiased source of information that MotherComputer/DC has no access to.

I could be way off...

I do feel like speculating here. I think Coby will give us a sign in some form or another, he told us to watch for one. He didn't give us many clues about the sign apart from the fact that he wrote "Bliss" straight afterwards...

I don't think the sign will give us a means to contact Coby but maybe someone else within the city. The thing is, if there are going to be three different groups, why would we all wait for the same sign? Oh, much confusion.

When I talked to DomeCentral yesterday they simply said that there are no ex-citizens and Coby3 is not on their records. He got out somehow.

.

Well, what sign would all teams of a game be waiting for?

Bliss

Would Bliss be a sign that shows up at COD.net, or could that be a username for AIM?

oooh didn't think about that. But the name Bliss is probably already registered waaaay before this ARG was a twinkle in their eye. Possible CODBliss?

Mayhap we're just to paranoid after the Eileen incident. Rolling Eyes

That's easy... the sign will be an event that forces us to choose, in an unmistakable way, which we will be. Perhaps there will be a runner. Do we chase him? Turn him in? Go with him? Then our response to that sign will seal our fate, and role. I don't think it's required to announce to anyone what you want to be, your decision will be obvious based on your actions.

I'm thinking that perhaps we're putting too much thought into 'bliss' being the sign. Maybe bliss is just a way to sign emails? Kind of like 'love' or 'best wishes' even.

I agree with GateKeeper on this. I was going to propose an idea similar but when I got to the bottom of the page it had already been said. So I agree. It may just be a way of saying good bye in emails, wishing you Bliss.

I told DC that I was looking for a sign and it replied:
"There are many signs in the arcade.
Thank you"

Rolling Eyes

oh well, it might mean something.

Okay, Im getting pissed. You email coby3 at his email address that he sent the email to you. It isn't hard guys. You really don't have to think.! The sign is to show us WE CAN TRUST WHO HE WORKS FOR!!! Not what his contact address is. Holy shit, it pisses me off when people try to complicate things!

DomeCentral: Just that
DomeCentral: Thank you

Didnt everyone get renewed before coby mailed everyone?
How can you wait for something that already happened?

if this booboo happened in the wrong order, then I could see the sudden removel of everyone from carousel to be a sign that someone is in control, and helping.

But dang, the chronology of things needs to be a LOT more clear.

DC has hinted that the sign is the reinstatement of those caught up in the eileen5 debacle. I am now able to log in again and I asked DC if I had been renewed. It said, "maybe its a sign." That has come and passed... Not much of a sign IMO.

and Ler...take a deep breath or two. The reason people are overanalyzing everything is because a.) we got tricked by Eileen5 bc we missed a clue within a clue and b.) bc thats kind of the point of this game.

Indeed it is part of the game, i'm not going to reveal anything to Coby3 until right up to the deadline.

I'm going to try to quiz DC some more but (s)he's ignoring me.
