Anyone notice on the contact page that the map inset of Pemesent has a line drawn on? According to my map, the line surrounds Blackfriar's bridge, then comes up Milford Ln, turns onto Fleet St. and then heads up Chancery Ln.
Anythoughts? On the map site I'm using (the one from the informant site) there is a red line roughly drawn where the black line is drawn. I'm not certain what it designates.. a city district? Maybe you Londoner's can make more sense of it.
Also, is the phone number listed a real phone number format? Similarly with the postal code? I tried a hex-decimal conversion and got 284831. Past that, I have no ideas. We do have two new email addresses to toy around with. I sent emails claiming that I'm interested in travelling to Pemesent and would like to view the travel page, and the other pages if they'd be so kind in preparing for my trip. Awaiting replies.
I did a source code search, and didn't really turn up anything, but it's early and I could've missed something.
Any other thoughts?

Yay, that was a long wait but some cool new stuff. I have done exactly the same, shot off the email and checked the source. Coming up blanks though.
The black line is the Postal District boundary of EC4 in London. The phone number is not a correct format so no joy there.
Only other thing is this:

Has anyone noticed the highlighted characters in the Fact of the Day section. Both the letter 'P' and number '1000' are both in bold. This may be worth watching over the coming days - hopefully it could lead to something.

Ok.. I had a new thought. I noticed the new page is PHP based. I also noticed the web-banner html link paster on the 'contact' page. I had a thought that maybe coding that banner into another website and then linking to the pemesent.com site from the banner might result in a different webpage being served up. I tried it simply with a quick html jaunt and I didn't see any difference. Does anyone more technically minded than me have any thoughts about this? Worth pursuing more? Anyway to spoof our location as being 'Pemesent' via Meta tags or some such thing?

the HTML paster debunked...
Code:
<a href="http://www.pemesent.com"><img src="http://www.pemesent.com/web-banner.jpg" width="125" height="125" border="0" alt="Pemesent.com - City Information"></a>
shows the browser this is a link coming up
Code:
The link in itself
Code:
<img src="http://www.pemesent.com/web-banner.jpg" width="125" height="125" border="0"
The image details
Code:
alt="Pemesent.com - City Information">
What it says when you hover over with the mouse
The link has finished now.
Nothing suspicious here.

Thanks for looking at it PoorSod. Yeah, I realized the html snippet itself was not unusual. But I was thinking that since the page was PHP served that maybe it would have code to detect if a visitor was linking from an external OG site rather than from the informant site, and change its content accordingly. Of course it could be nothing, and just a nice game souvenir for us!

Oi! It's poorsod, not PoorSod! You know where you can stick your capitals?

Hmm - it's a poss, but unlikely. I reckon the PhP will be useful later, for some kind of login system or something.

On the Pemesent Today site you can sign up for a newsletter now:
"For latest updates of Pemesent.com subscribe to our newsletter"
Which I did, of course, but nothing yet, nor of the e-mail I sent regarding access.
