maybe all six signs are worth nothing compared to a soul, or even stella?

this whole thing so ******* frustrating!!!
we've tried every logical sequence:
1) Fibonacci
2) Prime's
3) Co-ordinates
4) 1-6, or 6-1
5) Order on HWAU
6) Order on friends reunited
7) Order on marlowe's site
Cool Phone numbers
9) Butterfly 17 and all possible derivatives
10) Hundreds of random guesses

fire - inferno cargo
raven - pathway travel
snake - ophis
trident - trident air
butterfly - ?
dog - cerberus/MIB/s+s

and NOT ONE PERSON HAS COME CLOSE!!!!!

this makes me think that this puzzle is a trick. there is no order or sequence... the symbols mean nothing, they're worth nothing. we've spent countless pointless hours, weeks, months on this.... for what? to get absolutely nowhere.... it's a trick.

there's three days left of this nightmare, and I am willing to bet all £10,946 that no-one gets the answer... cos there is no answer. the game will fade and die in three days time.

RANT OVER
Stella.... i hate you.

I half-expected this week to bring some sort of new clue to get this thing moving. No such luck.

The game started out with the objective being to find Jon. Jon was found, and the goalposts moved so that the prize is for sorting out this puzzle instead of sorting out all of the others to locate Jon at Peel Castle.

Does that strike anyone else as odd? There were a wealth of puzzles and clues to help us find Jon, and bugger all to help us solve this symbols puzzle. If there are some deeply ambiguous clues in there somewhere, they are certainly not the same kind of clues we've seen so far. Nobody has heard from any of the characters for ages, and with three days to go there isn't even a suggestion that we're about to see something happen.

I'm having a drink tonight, just bought my crate of Carling. Yeah, that's right Stella, I bought Carling instead of Stella. Carling, what a lovely refreshing lager. mmmmmmm. Such a crisp taste, and it never makes me hang around for months at a time waiting for something to happen.

Meak I'll take your bet! If you get the money, you give it to me! If I get the money, I'll keep it. Deal!

To be fair, the last sort of very straightforward clue was the mobile phone.
No really easy clue to Jon's location eg. or what I mean is it took research from outside the game.

Of course Stella is the most worthy thing - the star is the symbol at the centre of the puzzle!
What really bothers me is why so much about fibonacci numbers in the game if they aren't going to be part of the solution. Hmph.

And yeah it's been obvious for a few weeks that they aren't going to give any more clues - this game is finished with this puzzle. We aren't going to find the book of star and resurrect Jon or anything, Stella have moved on to new advertising inc. some new promotions for Stella Screen - did anyone see the 2-page advert in Metro this morning?

I think that the inviceble hotspot on the dvd,s shows up when you have played the cd. Couse on the cd-player it is writen: TURN OF MUSIC FOR A FILM. I know this is a title for a song but then it could have been any other song

yeah flo, I saw the advert and spent ages staring at it hoping I'd spot something that might help us solve this last puzzle.

I think it's like the safe puzzle, we need to 'watch' films in a certain order??

perhaps it is linked to the CD as the track uses sound tracks from films remixed - I've been trying to find out what they are but with no luck!

Last effort to try and solve the S&S Conclusion Puzzle..

Has anyone discovered whether the symbols on the weather map are significant? This doesn't seem to have been used as a clue yet.

only one thing

The only thing that could be, is that maybe jon left a clue at peel castle. but then again, it never happened that a clue was outside the internet, in real life. i followed the game til the end, came here every day, tried numerous possibilities at the s&s side, and now this... nobody knows the answer. i am truly disappointed! o how i hate this! i hope stella has a REAL GOOD explanation for the last puzzle!

Something I chatted to one of you guys about but thought I might share...

1. the worth of a thing is what it will bring
2. This is about Stella Artois and it being Reassuringly Expensive
3. it must be about how Stella Artois would value the signs

Or maybe not

Well, technically, the closing date is today, so by another more optimistic interpretation we might have until midnight tonight, especially if no one has got the exact solve.

The worth of a thing is what it will bring - well, indeed. They've told us once, they've told us a thousand times. We just still don't know what they really mean by it! And Stella Artois make beer - do they value tridents, crows, and all that malarky? I'd have thought they'd have valued the more traditional "water" and "hops" as it goes.

So yeah, I'm feeling your thinking, but it would be useful if you could expound a little!

hmmm, yes i can see it now...

the head of stella artois sitting in his office:

"I quite like tridents. I think they're about a 6. Oh, and butterflies, they're definitely a 17. Hmmm, yes. Dogs, I'll give them a 12."

No sane person puts random values on things!!!!!!

Sorry - my ideas were just thoughts about how Stella would want to complete the puzzle. Here's all my thinking since I joined ... will try and be clearer.

In previous moments I figured that it was entirely to do with us re-exploring the campaign - hence going back to Jon's site and the signs etc. I then figured from a site called ad-mag and this forum that the 'beginning' was probably the magazine press ad stuff.

I joined this forum over the Butterfly Clue from the afterdark event I went to. 17 is the number of butterflies in the Sable Shuck press ad so i figured the numbers are just the number of times in the ads they apprear - maybe all the ads added up? I dont have the ads (or the time or £45 to get them). Someone else might have done this already?

The last post was about working out the order (where to put the puzzle pieces) - again I figure the beer would want to order items in relation to itself essepcially as teh ads are all about how valuable the beer is... but i'm as stuck as you all. I figure you'd need to know the game for longer than i have.

hope this is clearer and helpful. it probably is all over anyway
