I think its a bit sudden to be trying to brute a puzzle, If they want us to see these files then they have given us the means. If they didnt then we are probably only meant to pass it on to them. You can carry on with the bruting but it always makes me feel dirty! lol

it is interesting to me that razimus, the time travel site guy,
started this forum basically on the same day that zoe was
getting started.. coincidence? And then he hasn't posted
since may 13th and then, suddenly, on June 20th, same
day that our "passer by" posts, he posts concerning
worm holes and dimensions.. his post is in reply to a post
by some "guest 1122-" coincidence? or maybe there is
something in his post? (as some of you know i was
at one time obsessed with that site)

http://www.razimus.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12

*let's wait until tomorrow and then talk about sending info on..

I vote no. Not yet - we should come up with a way to prove he's safe. And Leo.

We don't want leo's enemies to get a hold on this data - they may destroy it. I say bruteforce it first, check it's useful, check it's Leo talking and THEN pass it on.

There are definitely a lot of unknowns. Speaking strictly IG, as everyone has pointed out, we don't know that the person we've been talking to is in fact Leo, nor do we know where the evidence came from. The file has been available now for 3 days, and I think we still have a lot of unsolved riddles surrounding it. I feel the password is there for us to find.

Speaking OOG, would the PMs give us such a tantalizing file and not expect us to open it? :p

Russell, I think emailing Leo is a good idea, but we should find a way to determine his identity. Is there anything we know about Leo that only he could understand or answer? The Runic code? Zoe had hinted to Veo that they had only deciphered part of it. Any other ideas? Leo doesn't seem to be in immediate danger... he said he was released to home, though under surveillance. I think caution should prevail, but only for a time.

Ok then I feel dirty, with retrospect there is no way we could have guessed this password without bruting it as it is actually misspelt.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
govenment

It would appear that the text file are door codes in the police station, who is being held??

The pictures, im not sure but I think they look like sign language....

Orlando also came up with the same answer in chat for c4.

I have sent a few emails out asking various site owners if they can help us with what the sign language represents. One of them has replyed and is looking into it for me....

I have a good friend who is fluent in sign - she has to be as she works with children who are deaf or have hearing impediments. I live across the road from her, so I am going to show her the symbols when I get home.

At a complete guess, I would say the signs meant "She's not dead", especially seeing as a few of us have already come up with 'dead' for one of the signs.

It may be Leo being held in the police HQ, it may be Zoe under 'top security', so no-one can get to her and prove Leo's innocence. Do you thinnk we can mark this thread Solved now and continue on the ZIP contents here

i am just going to post this email reply from timjonzi.. just in
case he turns out to be ig
i wrote to him with the code, "how can we help leo"
what's with the
dash over and drop in on the Sphinx? and Cydonia?

Quote:

Hello there, thanks v much for your mail and glad you enjoyed what you
read, I'm kind of flitting about trying to find stuff, hence the
brevity of this reply, but I need to quickly dash over to the Sphinx,
and later I might drop in on Cydonia, if I find the time.

I'll check out Clare Fields at Amazon, so thx for that, and I'm sorry
but I'm not sure which Wikipedia link you mean, but let me know if you
need to and I'll check whatever it is.

The interesting detail about the bridge in Scotland was that the dogs
(and cats too) all jumped from exactly the same spot on the bridge

I guess you know Rance and Soggy Biscuit? Not sure what it's all
about, but as you all mention Leo...?

anyway, must dash, so bye for now and all the best,

Tim

Here's my most recent email and reply from Tim. It will explain the Sphinx and Cydonia references. I'm still not completely convinced the guy is OOG, but I'm starting to feel that way. He's a nice guy though, and very sporting so far. Here're the messages:

Quote:
> Thanks for the quick reply!

Leo is a friend of ours in need of help. Information we had led us to your
blog, though we're not sure why. Sorry for the circumspection. Curious about your sphinx reference though, been down to Cleopatra's needle recently? I've never been to London, but seem to have been studying it a lot lately. The whole embankment area seem pretty interesting to be honest.

The Darling book sounds interesting, I'll have to check it out. Does it dwell mainly on quantum teleportation or does it touch on macro teleportation? (for lack of a better term.) The Talbot book... sounds fairly metaphysical? even philosphical? Let me know what you think of it. Sometimes I can get into that kind of thing, sometimes not. I guess it all depends on how the material is presented.

If you want any more info on Leo, don't be afraid to ask. It's an interesting story.

Keep blogging!
Rance

His reply:
Quote:
Hi Rance, thanks for your email, and although I'm still in the dark
about Leo, or what kind of help might be required - I'm curious to
discover what it all means.

I mentioned the Sphinx as that was something leonine that leapt to
mind - but I could equally have thought of the Face at
Cydonia,(half-human, half-feline), Stamford the Lion, aka the Chelsea
Football Club mascot, the weeping lions at the end of the world
(Manhattan) in the film AI, Leo Sayer, diminutive pop person of the
70s, Leo Tolstoy etc etc.

By an act of synchronicity, I was idly watchin the TV when the remains
of what had been a huge lion statue in Sri Lanka were the subject of
the presenter's attention, anyway it's blogged if you want to check
it.

Also, I take it you know the other two guys who wrote to me on the
subject of Leo, so hi to them, (unlessof course you are all one and
the same person!).

On David Darling's book, yes he covers quantum teleportation as well
as the other, I'm still reading it, along with several other books,
hope to finish it soon, there's abundant coverage of the history of
physics over the past decades and centuries, again I'm somewhere in
the middle of the book, way to go yet.

The Holographic Universe actually cites a lot of documented evidence
from patients' histories and case notes, dealing with the mind as a
hologram, the human body, the Universe - he doesn't indulge in a great
deal of speculation, so there's a fair amount of real experiences and
events which he cites to build his case throughout the book.

The Embankment as you mention, is historically interesting, especially
along the banks of the river where mud-larking activities take place -
basically, people prodding about in the mud hoping to recover the odd
gold sword, amongst the thousands of discarded clay pipes - maybe I'll
go and check Cleopatra's Needle sometime, I think there are artifacts
buried beneath it, not sure.

Ok, thanks again and bye for now,

Tim

If he's IG.. he's either waiting for us to be more direct in questioning about Leo or waiting for some kind of passcode or phrase before giving us info. His emails are certainly curious. I haven't sent any coded message just yet.
