Why is Virgil Involved?

I was just wondering. Why is Virgil posting these "cube" puzzles. What does he have to do with the heist in general. I've been out for a while (darn finals), so I'm a little lost Confused .

If he IS part of the heist (if that is still going on), why is he trying to give us "clues" though his site?

I'm believing that he is in this souly for Nisha... and he gave us this evil cube of doom and demise and of well.... EVIL!!! so that it would make it harder for someone to break into his thoughts... but the great peoples here at unfiction have cracked the cube and have now accessed the deeper parts of Virgil's brain!
