Well, trying "Announced" failed. So I'm guessing that's not it.

Woah! Either I'm on to something, or this is one freakey coincidence! I went to the most recent thing (with the 6 9 coment) and I counted the words, here's my findings-

The Board of Directors of Legion Pharmaceuticals today announced a management buyout plan that would counter separate bids for the company made by two unnamed suitors.

"Leagion announced that"
that's all I got, and I'm prolly' just making some random connection, but it's somthing, thoes are the 6th, 9th, and 14th, words.

Oh, and does anyone have some important dates? like, an important, or any, date like 6/18 or something, because that's how the media thing is working, "http://www.legionpharma.com/media.php?0623" 0623 is the date, 6/23, try entering in some important ones form other pages.

you might not have seen this,

but if you anwser the query, you'll get a page that will say it was incorrect.

If you read the source, it says:

"It's not what you think."

Okay, I've done some scripting work on the new article:

Taking the sixth, then the ninth words (and so on for each paragraph) gives:
Code:

nmlonn
HJBShre nmlacmtuhueastneud
ueeda oirlo cfcwklisn,ol Ehsa en ct fl enei
eielert inDncf uw tiLauag ootyr m ionirtsiife wyhe
a it nit yiv,o astrnfw gcew hrPc,veolnp,rnddirt
nmlvfaeoe ip r oylt a afturd,u ondnn oedairp v cu cc
orasbbioshyiei te aWtotvn.
taetnrgmPc,Bnuoeaet p adnhdonntxnv e
nmlamiaapdtenehlr eol aonnl teoaeto meru asvo sitwp.

Which is no help.

Taking words six, then nine, then six and so on gives:
Code:

The a counter unnamed
plan take while Technologies full merger announced
allow intact flow at research, industry direction the
is our of were powerful plans decided
the revolutionary its including amino of and
about expanding "We
next to further and in
company of is in neurological Pharmaceuticals website

Which also doesn't help.

I don't think so. I believe we have everything we need to solve this puzzle, we just need to work things out, somehow.

I don't think this has been mentioned yet....

The MySQL error provided when you try to access the "news archive" has a md5 hash in it.

MySQL Error: 1062 (Duplicate entry 'news_session-096b796cb7f48fa6fcd118c1e6854e72' for key 69) Session halted.

It's clearly identifiable by any programmer or system administrator type person's eye... I'm working on bruting the solution (MD5 is essentially a string encryption), but these things do take some time. I've submitted it to passcracking.com and I'm running a brute forcer program on my machine here.

No idea what information it would provide... keep you updated. Hope this hasn't been posted, but I think I looked pretty thoroughly.

Someone was asking about the MySQL error:

Quote:

This is a valid MySQL error that happens when you try to insert a row that already exists. In this case, the ID of the row is '69'.

I thought that it might be trying to insert something about your web session ID, but as far as I can see, I don't have any cookies from this website to track sessions.

It's possible that this is a bug in their php script, but I don't know why they'd be inserting on a page view.

Ok I went through the article differently, taking the 6th, 7th, 9th and 14th words, as those are all the nos we have. Came up with this(the slashes separate the paragraphs from each other)

6 7 9 14
Legion Pharmaceuticals announced that/ plan by the would /allow Legion to division/ is best our for /the nation's one Procellic /about helping raising and /next breakthrough Legion decision /company that products needs

Then I switched it around, as the numbers given to us in the source run 6 9 14 7
Legion announced that pharmaceuticals/ plan the would by/ allow to division legion/ is our for best/ the one procellic nation/ about raising and helping/ next legion decision breakthrough/ company products needs that

No help either.

But what if we take 6th and 9th from first line of each paragraph, and 14th and 7th from last line of each?
Legion announced That Pharmaceuticals/ plan the merger hours/ allow to move the/ is our for best/the one (structures advance OR a nation)/about raising and helping/next legion decision breakthrough/company products the a

No help either.

My head hurts. Havent done puzzles for years...

First of all, one of the rules of ARGing is "Thou Shalt Not Brute Force"

Secondly, that error message has been there since day 1 (And the number hasn't changed), which makes me think they meant that to indicate previous news isn't important (There is a brief history of the "company" on the about pages).

My £0.02's worth

Or... they could just not have a news archive if it wasn't important!

Or... not put a cryptic in nature string of characters in an error message meant as a mere placeholder.

Sorry, I don't buy that it's insignificant Smile

nah me neither. However, i feel that finding the password for the new page will let us into the admin section of the site, where we will see which article is assigned to row 69 and what not. make it priority.
