I'll answer (As I happen to know):

The files were stegged in the splash.jpg (Which we'd been lead to), and was found with stegdetect by myself, and uncamouflaged by rowan (As I didn't have it installed)

Thanks anaerin.

I tried stegdetect with a sensitivity of 10 and it said it was using the jphide method. I then tried stegbreak on it, but wasn't having any luck. I was thinking the passphrase needed would be blank, but it doesn't seem to like that.

I don't think anyone brought up these points (perhaps too obvious):

Roma -- is the Italian way of saying Rome. Rome is a city.

Perhaps the numbers in the newest post are suggesting something is hidden -- something is the tip of an ice berg

_ _ _ _ _ 6

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 9

the spaces can be filled in with their respective numbers. Does this tell us that we are seeing only a small part of the puzzle? Or that we should only look at the END of the puzzle?

Roma is the artist's handle. For more of his work, look here: http://www.art-roma.com/home.html

Well, first of all we need to find the puzzle, then. As we have two keywords already, I'm thinking we have 7 more to find, and I think one of them will be in (or around or related to) the image we have.

Thanks 3DR - Tedades
Was there any clue or anything to give a hint as to what program to use to pull the files out?

code on building

Looking at the image img_keytothecity.jpg and taking into account the file name - one would have to assume that there is a key somewhere within the graphic.

In playing with the image i can see some possibilities:

1) The lights on the building second left are braille - this is highlighted when you 'invert' the colour of the image. In Fact when i invert the image and then play with curves some of the lights are a full dot and some are circles. Below are two different edits of the same part fo the building.

2) The window count is important - eg next to the 8 are eight windows, below that are seven and then seven - the 8 also has five lights in a pattern under it.

3) The red lights are in patterns 1-2-2-2-2-4-2-1-3 (exluding the red panel on the left) including : 1-11-2-2-2-2-4-2-1-3. Or maybe the red dot positions are important. If you count yellow left to right it is 1-9-3-(7-7)-8-27 or if you divide the right yellows to the crosses 5-9-9-4

anyway there are heaps more possibilites to this pic - i'm probably reading to much into it.

This is unrelated, but I've been wondering...why do some of the images have the alternate text 'Missing, and some have Blank?

Thanks for the uncamo thing.
I decided to look at the img_4yoUreyesonly.jpg, cuz if you look at it in a hex editor the end of the file looks like the end of the spash.jpg.

Anyway this one required a password of 4yoUreyesonly...i just copy/pasted the title of the page. It's all uppercase on the screen, yet it comes out mixed case here. Anyway there were 2 files in it, the image itself and omgeyes.txt
which contained: uh4xdmy3y3s!

Doesn't seem to relate to anything though. Thought it was kinda interesting.
