Yeah, that game is awesome. Too bad EA doesn't police their records or scoreboards- on Xbox Live the top 20 or so spots on all tracks have a :00 seconds or :01 second race time. At least Bungie bans the hackerz.
PM me and I might get on.

I gave it a rental last weekend, great fun. Finally a racing game that rewards crashes, which is what I end up trying to do in any other racing game anyway!
I was very disappointed by the Xbox Live component though. Six games in a row would not let me join, then one finally did and I got booted halfway through. Halo 2 has spoiled me I suppose.

I got it a month back or so. Very fun game, since the specialty is about all i ever do in racing games... Crashing.

I like it, although not as much as I like Burnout 2.

Yup. Lots of fun. Haven't tried it online yet though. Anyone interested in having a go at that?

Yeah, I agree, I thought Burnout 2 rewarded you more for driving well, and didn't allow the compute to magically catch up all the time. And I will agree that Halo 2 has left me disappointed with EVERY other xbox live game. AND I agree that the online rankings are crap because they don't police them. And have you guys ever had a time when you don't plug your headset in, and the people in the game you join say "You don't have a headset, get the f*** out and refuse to start the game? That happnes to me on Crimson Skies and this all the time. How rude!! Who cares if I don't want to have a headset on just so you can hear the sound of me breathing. But it's fun to smack your buddies in the wall and laugh about it .

Yeah, I would love to play online with someone other than morons . I'm going to try to get on for a bit tonight before Halo 2, so send me a message if you get online.

I have it for the Playstation 2, and it's one of THE BEST GAMES EVAR. Especially for parties. Excellent party game.

It was the other game I bought when I bought an XBOX for Halo2. And it's very shiny. I heard of Franz Ferdinand, so I was charmed to hear them on the soundtrack, and the other nu-thrash stuff is new to me but I can get used to it. Too bad the soundtrack doesn't play in multiplayer, and Live play is not going to happen anytime soon, as Broadband is only a rumor out my way. But overall it's fun and I like how the gameplay gives you the chance to get back into the game after a crash, rather than being immediately tempted to quit and restart.

I'll be on BO3 at 9 pm tonight. Send me a message, or look for a game called ILB with the password "grope" (I tried to make it !grope, but it wouldn't let me put a symbol in the password . I'll be in Halo 2 at 10ish.

Yeah, I always found it really odd how the soundtrack doesn't play during multiplayer sessions. Then it comes on at the menu and everyone's like "oh right, there's music in this game!"

It doesn't play in split-screen modes. It does play online, but who has parties online?
