Has anyone actually entered their address/phone number into the poll?

I think that aqua matron site (and all those which are linked off it) are nothing more than random word generators, based on the fact that every time you attempt to hit that URL the page comes up reading completely different. Like infinite monkeys (not to be confused with i_m0nk), eventually the random strings of words threaded together would include the words "aqua" and "matron", which would account for the hit off Google.
In short, I don't think this is an in-"game" site, but I'm more than happy to be proven wrong.

Ozy, you're probably right. I didn't notice that.
The sea-witch in the Little Mermaid is named Ursula. I don't know if that helps anything or not.

I was extremely unwilling to give up my address and number, but I put a message in his poll about how I was too far off his hoboing routes, anyway.

How to start? I'm a former cloudmaker (just joined this site) but I never got the original email from the salla address. How can I play? Were there any other cloudmakers who didn't get it? I want to play too!

Hey, what can I say - I'm new around here...
I can't find "trout" or "shill" anywhere in your glossary. I'm worried I might be one (or both).

Trout is a carryover from Cloudmakers. It's a polite response to a redundant or factually false post, usually the result of someone not searching the post archive to see if something's already been found, discussed or solved.
A Shill is someone affiliated with the game producers who is posing as a player.

Hey trinity, welcome! There was a guide of sorts for this that Grimace posted, but I see it's not there any more.
Everything's still in the exploratory stages. We're still not sure what this all is, exactly. Hopefully that'll change soon.

Ariel I've been poking around and even though I'm not receiving the emails I can still work on puzzles. Sorry if there's any trout here. Got this off the net:
Ariel:
In Alexander Pope's poem "The Rape of the Lock", a spirit of the air, chief of the sylphs. This Ariel is a "he." There are also cards and Queens (i.e, "Queen of Hearts") mentioned in this poem, as well as Muses and other mythology. "Rape" here can also mean kidnapping.

In Shakespeare's "The Tempest" Ariel is an "airy Spirit" who was imprisoned in a tree by a witch and set free by Prospero. I've seen this Ariel referred to as both "he" and "she" so I think it is neither, just a spirit. This Ariel is mischievous and works magic spells, and Ariel sings, like the Disney Ariel. There is a poem called "Ariel's Song" which mentions the sea.

Searchable Tempest:

So Ariel seems to be an air spirit or sylph, and both of these stories mention water, especially Shakespeare.
In the Disney pic, I think an "aqua maiden" would be Ariel, "aqua matron" would be Ursula. Disney Ariel is a mermaid princess, daughter of Triton. The picture is her signing the contract with the sea-witch Ursula to live on land with legs and breathe air. The contract says Ariel has 3 days for Prince Eric to fall in love with her (kiss her)--if she succeeds, she can keep her legs and live on land permanently or she becomes a little squiggly worm thing and Ursula's prisoner. The price: Ariel sings beautifully, so she has to do this without her voice.
**I think Ariel is an aqua maiden because she is also drawn in the color aqua in this picture. Ursula is brown, although I don't know why her octopus-legs are black. The subject of that message is "???!!!???" which is interesting. Like shock or something.
Ursula:
German version of the moon-goddess Aphrodite (also called Horsel) - Ursul means moon.
There's also an Ursula in Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing", but she is a gentlewoman/servant who waits on Hero (daughter of the governor) and seems to be a minor character.

What do you think?
