stegg'd gif in front of us?

 		stegg'd gif in front of us?
Went back to start page (and as expected, on "7") I combed the source
..decided to probe further, and I went to the .css file within and found
the background to be "comIngSooN.gif" (note caps).. also
downloading it for hexdump shows a lot of 'characters' up the front (where the color palette is). Almost a sign of some kind of stego, considering the image was just about 'pure gray' for the background.

Anyone want to take a steg at breaking that one?

 		Ahh ok.

Doesn't seem like much would be in there.
All the other camo'd images had some odd stuff at the end of the file.

GIF's can be stegged without using camo - using color pallette shuffling techniques:

color 1 = Gray
color 2 = hex encoding in pallete

The GIF image is 64 colors, only 1(?) in use - leaves 63 slots in the color table to steg.

I know of the technique - but not programs to deal with that.
Either way, just spec I guess - I could be wrong - though the filename looked sus (ok, maybe hinting at SIN anagram)

Format: GIF89a, LZW compression - non-interlaced.
Palette: 48 gradient shades of gray, 208 unused indexes.

Binary comparison shows it to be identical to http://www.legionpharma.com/images/bg.page.gradient.gif.
