Last time Coby3 saved your hides, now it appear that there is a precedent:
If you complain, they'll let you start over.
Let's have some adventurous people! This is a faith exercise. Close your eyes and fall backwards and see what the game does to you. In other words, stop trying to reset the game:) It may not be the case that we ahve to make the game move forward. I think the game is trying to move us forward and we're fighting it by second-guessing the PMs.

Somebody, do something. Somebody else, do nothing. Lets see what happens.
As of this moment, sandman recruits are barking up a different tree.

They're quick. Craig4 is not listed anymore.

Perhaps they're pushing us to be like the main character of the movie in that we're not going to be successful running until we have managed to become Sandmen. In order to push everyone in that direction they keep punishing those who try to run, but make it easy to get back into the game. Once we're Sandmen it would seem easier to run because you're supposed to track down runners.

Plus, perhaps we're being shown to look for the hidden warnings. If we were in a resistance organization with the thought of being discovered and killed/tortured, we'd be damn sure to look for hidden codes before proceeding, and both emails had them. Perhaps we will be contacted in the future with a "safe" message (or a mixture of safe/unsafe and we have to choose which one to follow) that will allow us to search for Sanctuary without being caught.

If everybody is a sandman-turned-runner, then we're all back to square 1: just a bunch of participants.

I do not doubt that they willkick people off the SM team, and when they do, people will throw their hands up like they dont understand.

We got saved from Carousel last time, if everybody goes removing themselves from the list, we're back to square one.

The sandman password has changed, and it has reached Phase 2. In other words, there is no phase 1 sandman thing right now. There are other fish to fry, and you guys are it, so dont worry about the "we're all supposed to be sandmen" thing. Lets see what happens when Carousel is upon us!

I do not believe Renewal was your reward for doing nothing.
It was Coby3 saving you all as a one-time "Freeplay", letting you know about the traps and such...and so what if it was? What in the world will happen if we do nothing or ask to be reinstated and just get kicked back to "citiizen in waiting" status? So far, nothing except the first round of sandman recruiting, which is over and closed it seems, so you'll have to forge a new path.

We know there are 3 types of players: sandmen, Searchers, and citizens.

My spec is that runners will be in search of sanctuary (ala the hero of the movie.) After all wasn't the whole plot of the movie about finding Sanctuary?

Sandmen will try to disrupt the runners.

Citizens will just be observers.

I am up for carousel (again) but this time I'm running. I'm running to the place called Sactuary where all people live to over 70 years old! Sandmen sheep can chase me all they like. There need to be people on both teams for this to actually fall under the category of a game.

I suggest that we all not be afraid of being up for Carousel so that we can get the game a rollin'.

I'm sending emails to Eileen, Coby, and Doc to try and get some info on running and runners resources.

Those are my thoughts for now.

I think runners need to trck down doc6 or Coby3. They have lost their citizenships and are on the run as well. I send a plea for help to Eileen to help track down doc and coby. No responses. Anyone have any ideas where we might even begin to look for doc6 and /or Coby3?

i'm wondering if coby3 still taps into the system and reads his emails? ...because remember when he contacted us last time he said to write back but not to expect a direct response.. hmmm? in my email to him i included an alternative to getting in touch with me via a blog.. its worth a try (did the same with eileen5) i also went back over the love shop stuff and hallucimill today.. maybe there is something that we missed.. ? hope so

okay.. day two as an official runner.. and nothing is happening.. i am staying away from all sandmen.. which means i have nothing to do here...
so, i'm beginning to think "sanctuary" may be completely existential.. wherever you are when COD denies you access to the city, that is your sanctuary.. so sanctuary kinda looks like my treehouse style apartment that needs a paint job and a full-time maid..

Who are the runners and who are the sandmen(sheep)?

It seems Labfly and I are the only overt runners so far. Who should we fear?

This may warrant its own thread at some point but it is too early to tell how much info people want to share about their roles in the game.
