i'm not crawling back to dome central! i'm staying a runner...
as boring as it is..
i think jonny10 is right.. we should stick by our decision
it could be a test... maybe?? (i hope)

(And honestly, 30 years is just
not enough time for a labfly)
while waiting for something runner or searcher related
to actually happen,
maybe we can polish up our "how many" jokes...? like
"how many sandmen does it take to put in a light bulb?"

Yeah, I'm with Strings and Labfly. Boring as it may be, I'm gonna ride out my time on Carousel and continue to hope that there is more to this game than becoming a sandman. I have to think that there is a Sanctuary somewhere.

How do you get a one armed sandman out of a tree?

Thank you guys for the ones that are going to stay on the Last Day list. I truly believe this is what you need to do to become a runner, and people are taking the easy way out by going back to Dome Central and back-pedaling about wanting to be a Runner.

We have one page of a website... Oh well. Maybe tomorrow. But i'm beginning to think of this as the equivalent of the tests that the Sandmen had to do. Just an endurance test, as boring as that is. Wink

I think some people got out of carousel by talking with DC, there are some concersations on page 2 of the thread. Not sure how many people replied to Doc6 and talked with DC to be reinstated though.

A number of people begged DomeCentral and were renewed and removed from the list. A few of us (myself, Max Steele, etc) believe that there must be SOME reason to stay on the Carousel list and there's at least one player that has consciously not requested to be renewed in the hopes of exploring that path further.

But right now it seems like everyone is just in a holding pattern.

As far as I know, I (Adam9) am still on the list. I only hope that it's not us that's holding back the game though. Ie - nothing happens until we beg ourselves off of the list.

But like jzero says, I'm sure there must be some sort of fun consiquence to be derived from going to the Carousel... right? Shocked

Ok that probably explains the lack of those up for renewal.

I'd agree that if you wish to run its wisest to stay up for renewal, also I doubt they'll chuck you off the game if it's not.

Last time people where up for renewal did they all ask to be renewed or did some of them just get renewed without asking?

That was meant to be some sort of 'sign'. They were all renewed as if by magic. The timing was a bit off though, we were asked to look for a sign after everyone was renewed. One of the many shody aspects of this game Laughing
