[PHONECALL] Sandman Evaluation Interview Ok, I just got the call from Charlie3. He said he's usually given applications that have been seen with 'unusual activity' and he was puzzled why he had my application because I was in the top 1% scoring apps. Haha! Anyway, he asked me a few questions and said he was going to pass the application back to the SRI. So...the calls are coming!

Okay, I got my call. I totally screwed up the second question. I'm spoilering the questions to make sure that you guys don't screw it up like I did.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Question 1: What are the max numbers of partners allowed for Sandmen as to not hinder work performance?
Question 2: Where can Sandmen get information on Runners?
Question 3: What is the name of the crouch that Sandmen are required to practice?
I didn't post the answers cuz that would make it too easy.

phonecall from Charlie3 at SMHQ Questions are different from call to call.
And a mix from those on the Rules of Conduct and the Evaluation Form.
(I'll post a script in a few minutes.)

text of phonecall with Charlie3 at SMHQ I got a phonecall at 1635(PST) from Charlie3 at the Sandman Recruitment Center. This is the text of the phonecall, as I remember it.
Quote:
"Hullo, is Boris-two there?"
"This is he."
"This is Charlie-three calling from the Sandman Recruitment Center, and I'm calling to go over some questions on your Sandman Recruitment Evaluation with you. Now this is odd, I generally handle the cases that are borderline or need more information, but I'm looking over your application and from what I can tell, your answers fall in the top one-percent of our applicants."
"Really?"
"Yeah. It's strange that I would see an application of this calibre at all, but I'd like to just follow procedure here and go over your answers with you."
"Alright."
"Now you said that you wanted to be a Sandman because you were 'a loyal citizen who believes that those who deny Renewal are delusioned malcontentants', is that what you believe?"
"Yes, that is what I believe."
"Very good, I'll note that here, and move on to --- excuse me..."
There is some sort of interruption, the sound of him picking up another phone. Charlie3 talks to someone else (I can't hear that end of the conversation very well), he seems slightly annoyed. Then there is the sound of hanging up that phone.
"Boris, are you there? Sorry about that interruption; there are a lot of applications to process just now and we're very busy here."
"I understand, that's fine."
"Now, back to the evaluation. There are a couple of questions I'd like to go over with you. How many partners is considered the maximum per week that will not result in decreased productivity during work shifts?"
"No more than eight partners per week is recommended."
"Good. Who must be contacted to authorize pursuit of a Runner outside the Dome?"
"Sandman Headquarters must give permission to pursue a Runner outside the Dome."
"Okay, that's enough. As I said, your application looks good, Boris. I'll put your application forward in the process."
"Great. Thanks, Charlie."
(Edit: removed spoiler-tags from the questions; since there seem to be different questions for each call, spoilering them is unnecessary.)

Mine was the exact same number as above.
Is there anyway to trace this number back to its origin or something like that...legally?

probably not.... they're probably using a "proxy" telephone service as to conceal privacy... that's my best guess anywayz
not that it would matter....
we're not trying to find the identity of these people...
just trying to become sandmen
just for grins and giggles though
WhitePages.com has this to say
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The phone number "(202) 558-5422" is a Washington, DC based phone number and the registered carrier is Level 3 Communications, Llc - Dc. However, due to number portability, some numbers have been transferred to a new service provider other than the registered carrier.

originating phone number The phone number of my call was
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
212-404-8990
and I received a call a minute prior, that I didn't get to in time to pickup, from
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
408-635-1080
A return call to the later picks up with a message noting that it is a line from DialPad.com, a voice-over-IP telephony company. Amusingly, the voice on the recording mispronounces telephony like "phony". But a cursory glance at the website seems to indicate that the company is on the up and up.
