Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you go to http://www.theisland-themovie.com/ and then click enter then on the flash interface go to Merrick Biotech. Then on the right there is a place where it says witness agnate extraction. Then enter the information. It plays a 1 min. video. You can enter any information with an age over 18 though and still get the same video.

I've signed up for the forum and looked around appears that there are people who dont know its an ARG..... I found Ignacio Wallace email in one of the news articles...iwSPLAT clonewatch.org.

From Ignacio Wallace
Some members have been asking about the last two years of news on the site (Items 1-225). We apologize but our archives became infected by the Sola virus a few days after our successful infiltration of R. Franklin Industries in Bern, Switzerland. We cannot confirm (but suspect) that R. Franklin Industries targeted and infected the CloneWatch server.
The C.W.I. news archive was lost. Hard copies do exist and will be returned to the server as soon as possible. At present, CloneWatch is concentrating on our next point of interest, Merrick Biotech. This company is apparently a producer of replacement organs for those wealthy enough to afford them. They maintain virtually impenetrable security systems and are bankrolled by both public and private organizations.
CloneWatch needs your help. We currently have very few volunteers in the Southwest. If you or anyone you know has any information or can help us gain access to or information about Merrick, please contact me at iwSPLAT clonewatch.org
As a citizen, this is your chance to do something to help. It might also help me get the news archives back up sooner.
Press on.
Ignacio Wallace
I fired off an emial asking if I can help.

Ok, I have signed up on the www.youhavebeenchosen.com/ site now, but the Merrick Biotech site is still giving me this error when I try to sign up.

Error
Either the database is running slowly or this site is experiencing difficulties please try again later.
So I guess we will need to try again tommorow.
Yep. Still getting that error when I try to sign up to Merrick Biotech today.

I think something's getting ready to happen with this....
The movie comes out tomorrow.
On the Merrick Biotech site, that "Sign up for Updates" link has been disabled. You can't get to the form anymore.
So they've updated the site...

I'm so in on this one. I really do hope it goes somewhere, and doesn't just end tomorrow when the movie comes out. So...count me in! One thing is that I never got a chance to sign up with Merrick...that's gone now right? Bummer.
Oh man, I feel awful for those people on the message boards who don't realise it's an ARG. They must be so weirded out by all this.

Just for kicks and giggles, I decided to WHOIS the clonewatch.org site, and something VERY interesting came up. (Because I'm not sure if WHOISing the sites is frowned down upon, as they say, I'll put it in spoiler brackets and you can give me a talking to if I've done something wrong! )
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
So, the WHOIS gave up something pretty strange. Not sure if it's meta and the PMs just registered it under the name but...

The registar AND admin of the site is a man named Henry Merrick - who I am sure has something to do with Merrick Biotech. Right?
The fact that it's registered to a name in AZ makes sense, since the Arizona desert was mentioned before...Anyone have the balls to try the phone number??
Googling DSTR Holdings showed just a bunch of entreies about questionable websites. They all seem to be out of game so...
Anyway, hope I havn't broken any rules! Whee!
EDIT: The area code/zip code both check out, both coming from Scottsdale, but the phone number doesn't have an entry. I'm not sure if it's an active one or not. Also, googling Henry Merrick doesn't seem to come up with anything relevent.

and just when i thought this one was going nowhere... yay
checking out the boards on the clonewatch site
and found subject
"dossiers secret"
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
yeah, those were really quick sketches i saw based on video. not sure we should share them out in the public- leave that for the private site..
private site?!! who? where?
and a couple attachments
and this
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the clone shots are great, I've seen other pictures of failed experiments and they are grisly to say the least. Different parts of the body age at different speeds, and an ear grows in the middle of a forehead.
I'm not sure what they do with these but someone on the inside has taken a lot of shots and published them in that pamphlet that has been distributed all over the southwest.
sounds suspicious!!

I'm getting the feeling that Julius_Soul, simulater, tigershorty and possibly even longwave are all ingame characters. They dont have external email addresses in their profiles, but someone should try to PM them and ask about the 'private site' and such. I might be talked into doing it....
EDIT: Okay, fired off a mail to both similator and Julius_Soul, as they were the ones talking about the private site. Here's what I sent.

Hey there! I'm a new member to the Clonewatch site, and as I was reading some of the older posts on the message board, something caught my eye. On the thread "Dossiers Secret" you were talking about how you have a 'private site' about this cloning fiasco and how there were other things posted there, pictures and files and whatnot. I really just want to learn all that I can, so I was wondering if it's not to bold to ask permission to see this private site? And possibly hand the address out to some friends of mine who are also very interested in the area.
Many thanks!
