 		Been playing round with email...the only one so far that hasn't bounced is monk_bernardSPLATyahoo.com So will wait & see if that gets a response.

Salomslot was online tonight...but signed off fairly soon after I logged in (6pm Aussie time) & didn't respond when I said hi...did anyone get a chance to talk to him?

Just so that everyone is on the same page here... there was a conversation with Drac earlier in the week between Pinchy and Drac in which Drac mentions the e-mail address ending...

So, no yahoo, gmail, excite, etc... it's a hotmail account. We just need to find out which one it is.

As an added note: This PM doesn't respond to everything he/she gets. So don't be surprised if we never receive a response from Mr. Bernard, even if we do get it right.

As an add-on, here is what has been tried and either "bounced" or "no reply yet":

monkb - BOUNCED
monk - BOUNCED
monk_b - BOUNCED
monkbernard - NO REPLY YET

From that, my guess would be that the last one, the one that is labeled "NO REPLY YET", is the one that we are supposed to be using. Unless someone can try monk_bernardSPLAThotmail.com. I'll add that if we get a Bounce or No reply yet.

EDIT:

I tried e-mailing to the following addresses from Yahoo and they all bounced, so I'm out of ideas for the moment:

 		I was reading thought the guide and one of the chats said:

Salomslot: Fine, the entire email address is wrong, except for the monkb part

So We know it starts with Monkb and ends with hotmail.com How ever he says that every thing is wrong except Monkb not Monkbernard so if it is MonkbernardSPLAThotmail.com Drac is a lier lier pants set a blaze and now he is a pile of ashes.

 		Had a quick chat with Salomslot this morning. Looks like this ARG is (at best) on hold for a while...

 		Ahhh, the lessons that we learn
Being a solo PM is such a pain in the butt. The time, the commitment... the problems that can arise. Lesson Number 1: Have someone help you so that, if something does come up, the game can still run. As tragic as the event that occured is, in comparison to the game, this game is nothing. We understand, dear PM. We look forward to your return. Take your time.

In related news, some good PM team (teamteamteam) needs to go make a really good Buffyverse ARG. I haven't been able to get the idea out of my head. There's so much potential (heh, I did a pun!). I offer my eternal devotion, and cookies!

 		Personally, I think what would be a good idea for a Vamp-type ARG would be based on the Vampire RPG series... vampires's fear of discovery and all.

No doubt other people who made contact with the characters got an email as well...but for the benefit of everyone else, here's the contents:

Interestingly, Lewis Denby is also in the recipient list.

But the website doesn't have the vampire info on it any more. Same game or something different?

As an aside, according to Google, a lehashim is a Hebrew amulet associated with incantations, spells, charms, and prayers. It is also used to describe any object that was used for magical purposes and the original lehashim may have been charms in the form of serpents.

I went searching for the old posts concerning this ARG but couldn't find it. So, I'm starting a new one.

It looks like "salomslot" is back and "Vampire" is ready to get going again. Here is the e-mail:

The title of the e-mail was "He is using" (without the quotes).

I have lost all of the background info, like the old Blog address, etc. However, I do remember that we were supposed to be searching for someone named "Monk Bernard" and that "Dracula" was holding someone captive in a cell. Now, the e-mail did contain the name "Caleb Johnson". Whether that's the characters name or the PMs' name, I forget.

But that's where we are, I believe... oh yeah, and "Dracula" is trying to find some chic in some state (Kentucky?) who is "special" so he can carry out some sort of prophecy.
