Is it possible they were just leading up to the flash game, and when we reach the top score, we're finished?

Well I dunno...the quality of the little flash game seems on a par with the best of Virgil King of Code's early days. I have no idea what happened here but it's pretty obvious the PM/s are no longer with us.

And Bill I sincerely apologise for the implication in my post about who I have given my phone number to. I never suspected anyone involved in Acheron.

How much time do you propose to give it? I'm not trying to be snotty, I'm genuinely curious. What length of absence of vital signs indicates a dead game?* or, How long must vital signs be absent before it is an indication that a game is dead?**

*Thanks Jamesi
**Thanks xnbomb

From what I can see, the last actual interaction we had was June 29th, when a player talked to Dome Central to get removed from the Last Day group.

That would make it 15 days since we've seen any activity.

Personally, I'd say no activity in a month makes a game dead.

It also looks like the PM's are'nt reading the forums anymore.

When we were getting our phonecalls, players who were waiting for them were saying so here and then getting the calls within a matter of an hour or so.

I would also say that we need to give this game another couple of weeks before declaring it officially dead, but it just does'nt look promising right now Sad

Silly. I've been lurking in here since the start without actually playing. Looked really promising. Like, the most promising in ages. If it's dead, then that's silly.

Apologies for my wording of all that. It was very silly.

*shuts up*

Does a game ever really die? In three months they may get it together and start calling again. Hey, that's kind of how it's worked with PerplexCity...

That's one of the things I like about ARGs...I don't have to go to them to play....they come to me.

I say, either the game is completely dead at this point(Two weeks with a thread like this and no sympathy pulse from the PM's), or the most awesome thing youve ever seen is about to happen, with runners popping out of your closet at night in the biggest ARG spectacle ever.

I would just like to state for the record that if anyone comes popping out of my closet, runner or otherwise, I promise to yell out SHABLAZ as I charge them with a bat.

Perhaps we will all wake up one of these mornings with a crystal implanted in our palm. Cool
