I used photoshop to adjust the Contrast/Brightness level. Another good app for this would be gimp which is free.. I could also post the adjusted screenshots if you wish, Thanks a ton to the one that snagged them for us.

As for what numbers, your guess is as good as mine.

Well, since 609 is Jersey.. it would make the most sense. Anybody get a reponse yet? No reverse lookup info on it, but I don't think it's a cell, based on how many businesses and residentials have the same 553 prefix.

Gee, since it's so local, guess i need to call again.... and again... and again... isn't it kinda odd to have an ad camp arg after a movie is already out? unless maybe it's to force us to buy extra merch, and see the movie 1bazillion times... meh.

I'm assuming the eye roll DOES mean you are being sarcastic....

I did a reverse phone look up, and i'm about to grab my yellowpages to make sure the "553" is indeed from AC, but:

"The phone number "(609) 553-9603" is a Atlantic City, NJ based phone number and the registered carrier is Omnipoint Communications Enterprises, L.p. However, due to number portability, some numbers have been transferred to a new service provider other than the registered carrier. "

No farms here in the home of monopoly, just tourists, casinos, and beach.

I've looked at it *very* closely. It's a 0.

Also, if it were 669, when you call that number, it says: "The number or code you dialed is incorrect."

Yes, that was a lot of sarcasm about the rent-a-horse.. however, I was thinking more towards the Bordentown/New Egypt area (since somebody said Trenton) when I was thinking horses, not AC. I know I'd give a dollar for some of those gorgeous farm estates in that area.. Very Happy

It would be great if this did turn out to be an ARG. It would be a very new and awesome way to launch one, actually AFTER the movie. Who knows, maybe they want to give some new stories.

not really "new" mr spielberg did the same thing, hidding clues in a movie, in AI which launched the famous game The Beast.

Mmm, true, I had forgotten that was how the Beast launched.

The Beast was launched before AI came out. Clues were hidden at the end of -trailers- for AI, not AI itself.

Not exactly, there were two different trailheads, one being the code hidden in the movie posters, and during the credits to the movie
