Looking at the grid, I like KNOWLEDGE for that long word in the middle.
Which means ESTATE is wrong.

That would fit with the V - "YELLOW" and with the "EXTREME" in the top right corner.

I think Z is Blade not Uncle - Garret Balde = John Blade's Uncle and the first three words could then read "From the day"

I've reconsidered and think J is Disassembled (hence the edit)
