aliendogstar,

i've been doing a chronological update guide for the collective detective evidence trail. I'm usually current on it within a week or so. If you arent a member of CD, you can see the raw text here on my site. I've been keeping it there for backup, but feel free to look through it.

You can't forget the Javanese Lemurs. They haven't played a big enough role in this, to my estimation.

the hermit

after trying to find a link between kabbalah and the da symbol, I got onto tarot and am starting to think the the figurine is of the hermit tarot card (his missing right hand would be holding a lantern)

interesting search result.

http://www.innerx.net/personal/tsmith/SegalConf2.html

matches a google for rodin/sunflower/guide/da
and then, on the page, I'm looking for a number sequence that would be a combo. The most obvious one has been mentioned: 12-45-78 and it doesn't work in that order.

searches for rodin/sunflower/digitalis or foxglove/da don't give anything.

This seems to prove that Dmax is Digitalis
(or possibly Leonardo of Pisa).

keep it simple?

Hi all,

Thought I'd take a stab at this one. Since I have *no* idea what has already been tried, just thought I'd throw this out there.

Working on these premises:

Wes would keep the "puzzle" simple enough for Sam to figure out; after all, wasn't it Sam who got Wes to change that bumper sticker to " cluesearch cluesearch...."?

And, that this is a Master combination lock, just like many of us had on our high school lockers. In which case you only need two numbers. The third can be arrived at by slowly turning the dial in the opposite direction...and the lock will drop open.

First clear the lock by turning it several times to the left then...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Rodin> R > Right / 0 / statue>S>sinistra(Wes probably couldn't help himself)> Left / 5

Just a thought.

or maybe not

On second thought, maybe you clear the lock to the right Smile

further down the page there are two more diagrams relevent to the sunflower sequence, fibonacci etc.

trying out various half-assed ways to relate the images/sequences i came up with a few more combos to try:
87-51-24
96-69-33

and maybe:
11-88-11|11-81-18|11-18-81|18-88-11|18-11-88|18-81-18|81-18-81|81-11-88|81-88-11|88-11-88|88-18-81|88-81-18

I'd explain what I tried but it's confusing and I'm feeling particularly dyslexic tonight.
I'll try and explain if you're interested, or if, somehow, I'm right

SOLVE Email from Sam

Thread here

It was the gap sequence, and the last two pictures
mean missing digits/five digits

We only tried the gap sequence as six digits before.

Explanation from Dale in Sam's email.
