There are Some Peeps that Never Stopped Playing Push

Ok now yall will all have to forgive me this little foray into the past. When I was in Orlando I spoke with Space Bass (hellllooooooo!) about how I aquired my Screen Name.
When Push, Nevada ended I was left with the syndrom that most peeps experience when a riviting ARG ends.... Obsessive Compulsiveness...lelelel. A bunch of us Pushers took on the persona of many of the Push charecters. I took on Sunny du Pree a morning show host and gossip columnist. What follows are a series of Articles that I wrote as Sunny continuing on the Push saga.
This is for Space Bass YOU ASKED FOR IT
We were pissed that Push didnt end so we made up our own endings... believe me this is only a small part of the creative outpouring that took place when Push ended.
What is even more amazing that there are peeps out there that play push to this day..
One more thing, if you didnt play Push then there will be alot of stuff that does not make sense for it is mostly Push Reference and in jokes but it is silly none the less........
I will post in small bites so you wont throw it up in a vomitous mass...
CONTINUE AT YOUR OWN RISK
LELLELELELE!

Hello Fellow Pushers and Pushees!!!!!!!

I am sitting at the newly re-vamped Slomans Slo Dance bar with the languid sound of the Rusty Spurs hypnotising dance music while the gentle aroma of white roses wafts through the VIP room.

(Hey barkeep!!!!! can I get a Baileys Coffie in a Mug!!!!?????)

Sorry, I just ate the biggest Kielbasa off of the meat platter and I am thirsty as hell...

So I noticed that there are some "Young ladies" here with a select style of
dressing that can only mean one thing...Sloman is interviewing tonite and the maid will have a mess to clean up in the morning in his office. Some peoples casting couches are used more that Cecil B. Demilles!

Hey I smell something funny???? I wonder what those young people are smoking over there..those sure are some funny smelling cigarrets but I would really like to try that green beer.

There is a certain lady here tonite that has had "Ti many Martoonies" and I hope that Martha gives her a ride home tonite..(her initials are E.B.)

OH MY GOD there goes Shadrach with a GUN!!!!!! and He is Yelling something about Salt!! AAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCKKKKKKK!!!!
I wonder...some people get upset about the littlest things..if he wanted salt on his Margarita he should have asked for it.

Wheeww I am ok...Well there goes Mary after him..I wonder if they have a little "tet a tet" going on...Oh far be it from me to cast aspersions..

I cant find the illustrious Quinny tonite..My goodness after seeing him in that Tux at the last Blackwell affair..he makes my heart go pit-apat..UH hem, I digress..

I havent seen that magnetic personality Jimmy Prufrock, sweat and blood fashion statement aside, that boy really warms my mug...I do see his secretary Grace...we could use her talents at the station...

Well I am getting a bit tipsy so I must skedaddle but I must remind you that Push is up for the Mother lode award for the 18th year running..
PUSH IS THE AMERICAN DREAM!!!
Dont forget we are going to finally inter the ashes of Caleb Moore at Blackwells this sunday..That Boy WAS COLD!!
Please dress appropreately and that includes shopping cart PUSHERS!!!

The Anasazi birthing class has been postponed untill further notice, Ladies hold on to your little lizards!!!

Push..Why live anywhere else

OBITUARY

Hello oot there!
Another addition to my articles that I wrote post-Push.
This next installment involved a very special writer that I had the pleasure to know for a very short time. Push inspired many peeps to be creative. One such poster was Mistah Utterson.....He wore many different personas during Push that were truely inventive and creative, I knew a few of them. One of the movements that he tried to start was in regards to a fictionalized person, Lance Poster. Lance Poster was created to encourage people to break out of their box and be creative... to CREATE DISSTATIC was his battle cry. Mistah Utterson made Lance a martyr after creating this wonderful movement and Lance was said to have died in a stone fortress and the last visual that we had was in his empty cell where he clawed his bloody way stone by stone to the only small window at the top of the wall. It was very sad.....and very climatic... So Sunny wrote a heartfelt Obituary.

Mistah Utterson I hope you fare well wherever you are......

Tue Dec 3, 2002 12:26 am
Subject: OBITUARY

I have just learned from an illustrious comrade of the paper and
plume,Mr. Utterson, that a modern day hero has sadly left this earthly
plain to join others that have walked a scarcely trod path.

I speak of that self-deprecating freedom-fighter Lance Poster.
Although it is not known whether or not he has a family that
supercedes him but what is known that he has a loyal group of
followers that sorrow at his loss.

Lance Poster first came into the public eye when he was arrested for
spreading dis-static and causing a small but strong contingent of
artists of all kinds to band together to bring this cause to light
Lance was placed in an ultra-secure prison at an undisclosed location
where he met his purported fate. Whispers of a revolution circulated
around Push that rose to a murmur and then to a SHOUT..FREE LANCE
POSTER!!!!!!!

At his last interview Lance was sacrificing his health by going on a
hunger strike to bring attention to the woeful decline of postive
activities that create rather than destroy, that act as a juggernaut instead of a deadweight. I understand that he had witnessed a great Vison just before he passed out of this vale of tears but it is yet not understood of the enormity of the Vision..Suffice it to say that Lance Poster did not live an unexamined life.

As no body has been found or identified we still hang on to the precious hope that Lance is finally free and it out there creating random acts of beauty and senseless acts of kindness.

I personally have contacted prison officials who assure me that Lance is just fine. He will stand trial as accused and the machine of law will grind forward. This not withstanding, I personally believe the word of Mr Utterson. Hey just because a person is in authority doesnt mean they known what they are doing.

I have not been personally able to contact Mr. Utterson regarding his interviews with Lance Poster but know that He was profoundly affected by Lance's personal Vision and suffers a deep loss. My heart goes out to him.

Funeral arrangements will be made by Eunice Blackwell and the Wake will be held at Slomans Slo-Dance Bar. Time and dates pending.

For those of you that wish to participate in a Fundraiser for Lances Cause
Please Contact Mary Sloman at Marthas Boarding house for further details.

Sunnys Vacation

Sunny had a break but she is still making Push references!
She had to confront a beaten Oswald Wilkes when she got back to Push. She found out later that it was Slomans Slo Dancers who had done the beating.

Thu Dec 12, 2002 8:32 pm

GOOD MORNING PUSH

Yes it is once again Sunny DuPree here loving all things PUSH!!

Once you go PUSH you will never want to go back!!!

Had a wonderful time in Texas searching out the best Chorizo sausage
to be had! Chucky my first love is still YOUR FINE MEAT PLATTER so
never fear you will always have my heart. Recieved a sign from God all would be well on the way. The sun caught some ice crystals suspended in the sparse clouds of the huge Texas sky. The refracting light cast a golden rainbow before me..No other colors just gold..It was quite beautiful and touched my souL....if its gold its got to be good!!!

There was a terrible kafuffle at Martha's boarding house and I was on
hand to witness it..thank God for that Sprint phone with digital
photo capability, otherwise I would not have been able to document
the chaos that ensued..Oh my there was a desperate young man who,( his initals are OW)how shall I say this, was caught with his pants down outside of Martha's (and I can tell you Martha bout had a bovine). He had terrible bruises around his neck and I just cant imagine what would have
caused those awful marks. He was beaten severely about the chest and
stomach but not a bruise showed on his face. I saw two of Slomans
dancers crying in the background but they refused to be interviewed.
Police were on the scene to handle the fracas.
Remember you little Lizards out there Just Say No To Drugs!
I was going to publish the pictures but the young man entreated me so earnestly I did not have the Heart to do so. It was so strange because he was laughing and crying at the same time. They are currently placed in a black box in a safe place. A girl has to have her secrets and I know that Mary Sloman would agree!!!

To those of you who were not able to make it to Lance Poster and
Caleb Moores Memorial and wake it was just as good if not better than
Silas Bodnicks funeral. The Flowers, White Roses as well as lilacs,
were surprisingly abundant and the aroma was heavenly. The tears
flowed freely as mourners came up one after the other to speak of the
profound effect that Lance Poster had on their lives.
I myself have designed a new line of mugs with Lance Poster directives with the ever popular "Free Lance Poster" slogan as being the top seller.
I spoke with Job, our honest mechanic, regarding his friendship with Caleb Moore, He said "Hey now, its all good". But as he was turning away from me I saw him pull out a handkerchief with some lovely monogramming on it and touch the corner of his eyes. Who knew our
wrench twister was such a gentleman!!!! Even the local nomad was dressed well for the occasion!!

And a big warm Thank you to the local businessman who donated a
million and change
to the Lance Posters fund for artistic Little
Lizards. He wished to remain nameless..

Slomans Slo Dance Bar will be having a Cowboy Poets Nite this month
the 29th of December. Chester Defoe commented that his poems were
even better than they were in September and he promised that this
time he would actually recite them. Cheyanne Phillips and Gerald
Pricketts will round out the playbill.

The Little Lizards will be particapating in a Jump-Rope-Athon at the
Deep Freeze to raise funds for the grade school renovations. Support
our Little Lizards!!! I hope that you generous folks out there wont
wait till its a Cold Day In Push to spread the wealth around!!

OH..There is a rumor going around that a certain IRS agent is not who
he claims to be. I have been contacted by an individual who claims
that he is the true investigator and not the imposter who has been
posing as him..These are inflammatory remarks I know but..people watch your backs!!!!
Well this is Sunny Du Pree signing off with
"Please Keep Your MUG Clean"

Have a Sunny Day

Ok here is part of a story that was written in the same time frame as my articles. Farther into the story I start writing a bit of it. I wanted yall to see it from the beginning though. If you think my stuff was crazy before wait till you see what is next.
This story is a mish-mash of Push, Twilite Zone, Stephen King stories, and Star Trek... Man I cant believe how long this story was....lkelellelel I dont even know if there is an ending to it! Forwarned is forearmed.....got nothing better to do anyway right?
this beginning is very accurate to the way we see the first (like 20 min) episode of Push nevada...
FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS ITS GONNA BE A BUMPY NIGHT!

Remember it wont be me unless it has my name on it and it is not in quotes!

It is a heat like no one has ever felt before, like the fires of
Hell. It rises from the baking sand in rippling waves, distorting the
Joshua Trees and cacti, causing the lizards and rattlesnakes to
slither into shaded crevasses and holes. No mammals are to be seen.
And if you look up into the glaring blue/white sky, a silhouette of a
buzzard can be seen circling, ever circling. A man can die out here
in 4 hours, some say.

Oven-hot air blasts through the open windows of the 1958 Lincoln
Continental, which is being driven by a big-name Television
executive. He has taken a side road on his trip to Las Vegas, and has
become hopelessly lost in the desolation and heat of Demon Flats. He
is used to being pampered and catered to. And even though his fancy
air conditioning has long since quit pouring out cool air, and a
small amount of steam can be seen coming from the front of his luxury
car, he is not afraid. Not yet. He knows that all roads must lead
somewhere, even in this god-forsaken place.

And, as he squints ahead into the endless line of the single-lane
road, he sees it! Yes, it is a Signpost up ahead: Next stop Push, Nv.
population: 10,623.

The rich man heaves a sigh of relief as he wipes the sweat from his
warm brow. He realizes that he must have been holding his breath the
past few minutes, as he breaths deeply in and out, in and out. And
just as he is beginning to feel actually quite cheerful inside
himself, a strong sense of dread and forboding crashes over him as he
pulls into a run-down service station and garage. And for no logical
reason, he is suddenly afraid. Very afraid.

This is just the kind of place he liked to visit. Mood. Atmosphere.
A place where he could let his hair down and do what he enjoyed most:
Writing horror stories.

"This is about as far from Bangor,Maine as I could get," he thought,
as he surveyed the empty street, "but it's just creepy enough to help
me over this damned writer's block."

As he looked towards the town's only gas station, He saw a beauty of
a car. "Not Christine, but mighty nice, just the same," he ruminated
as he walked towards Job's.

"Well, I'll be dipped! That's Rod Serling! Geez, I thought he was long ago dead", hmmmm.

Curiosity had gotten the better of the modern day king of horror.
Maybe there is a story to be found here.

"Well, hiya, Job," Stephen said in his distinctly New England
accent, "Whatcha up ta?"

"Just fixin' cars the best way I know how for the best prices in the
U.S.A., Mr. King." Job replied without looking up from the lovely old
car. Job was awestruck at the mint condition of this car and was
secretly afraid to look away because he thought it might disappear.

King couldn't contain himself a second longer and walked over to the
man he KNEW was dead, but was standing there in the sunshine smoking
a cigarette like any other living man might do.

"Excuse me. I see you're having a bit of caa trouble"

Yeah. Can you believe it? A brand NEW car, and can't even make it
from L.A. to Vegas without breaking down!" He said as he extended
his hand to King, "Rod Serling" he said as he pitched his spent
Camel out into the desert.

"Stephen King. And VERY pleased to meet ya, Mr.Serling! How'd ya
like to go on ovah to Sloman's Slow Dance Bar for a cool drink while
you're waiting for your caa to be fixed?"

"Sure, son, let's go", Rod said as the two brilliant writers walked
the short distance to Sloman's.

They stepped from the searing heat of the desert sun into the
refreshing coolness of the surreal Slow Dance Bar. Odd lighting and
muffled voices were augmented by an eerie music which Rod had never
heard before. It was a music without a perceptible melody, but with a
slow regular lightly pulsing beat. Several dancers were seen gliding
around in what seemed like slow motion.

"This is a strange place, Stephen," Rod mumbled softly. It was the
kind of place where one did not feel comfortable raising one's voice.

"Yeah, Rod it certainly is that. Whatcha feel like drinkin', Rod?"

"Oh, I guess I'll just have a beer, thanks." And they slowly walked
to the bar.

"BahKeep, Would ya give us two of those Special Califahnia Beahs,
please?" Stephen said. The two frosty ones certainly quenched their
thirst as they both took long deep draws from their mugs.

"Let's go sit at a table, Rod. I want to tell ya about this town, and
I have a few questions for ya as well."

They took their drinks to a table where they had a panoramic view of
the comings and goings of Sloman's Slow Dance Bar.

"Let's go sit at a table, Rod. I want to tell ya about this town, and
I have a few questions for ya as well."

They took their drinks to a table where they had a panoramic view of
the comings and goings of Sloman's Slow Dance Bar. The two writers
sat in companionable silence for a while, listening to the odd music
and viewing the dimly lighted dancers as they wove their ways around
the bar.

A Danse Macabre, Stephen thought, and smiled to himself.

"Say, Rod, how is it that you are here in Sloman's Bar in the Fall of
2002?"

"I was driving to Vegas, just a quick trip to relieve some of the
stress those McCarthyites have been putting on me and my friends. And
I was drawn to this highway which brought me right into Push. I was
DRAWN here, Stephen, compelled to turn down that strip of blacktop. I
could not have turned away to save my life," Rod said, and he felt a
hitch in the back of his throat, as he added, "Stephen, what do you
mean,'the fall of 2,002'? What fell, 2,002 what? Is that some kind
of local saying?"

"Rod, I don't know how ya gonna take this, but it is the YEAR 2002,
in the Fall, Autumn, ya know. 2002 AD. That is one of the things
I've been meaning to ask you about Rod. This is a bit of a delicate
subject, but, well, you've been dead a good 25 years or so. Heart
attack, as I recall...I was wondering how it is that you can be here
now?"

Rod Serling's first instinct was to believe this King character was a
bit touched in the head. 2002? Impossible! But the longer the idea of
his death lingered in the heavy, smokey barroom atmosphere, the more
it just felt "right" to Rod. He did have a vivid recollection of a
squeezing, suffocating pain in his chest. When was that? He did not
know. So, how is it that he is here, almost a quarter of a century
after his death?

Stephen gave Rod time to assimilate the shocking details of his death
before speaking again. He had his own demons to contend with, for he
knew that he too was "DRAWN" to Push, Nv. with no less vehemence than
Rod had felt today. But, Stephen did not know how long he had been
here or exactly what was his purpose for being here. His flat tire
had been repaired days - or was it weeks? - ago, yet he continued to
come to Sloman's daily to wait. He didn't know what he was waiting
for, but he suspected that the arrival of Rod Serling, long since
passed from this Realm, might be part of this plan. And 'plan' this
is, Stephen thought, involuntarily shivering in the warm room. It was
The Dreams, as he thought of the words as capitalized, that were
directing him, guiding him here, and he didn't know why.

As he glanced up at Rod, who was lighting another cigarette, he
squinted at the vision of someone coming in the front door of
Sloman's. It was hard to make out whether it was a man or a woman
with the bright light from the desert glaring in the doorway.

As the stranger came closer to their table, Rod sucked in a quick
breath of air when he realized the man standing in front of their
table was not a human, somehow, and he started to rise from the table.

"MR. SPOCK!!" Stephen yelled. And the music quietened for a moment
and people stared in their general direction for a heartbeat, and
then went back to their dancing and quiet murmurings to each other.

"Good Day, gentlemen. How is it that you know my name?" Spock spoke
in very precise English,"Kindly tell me of our coordinates, so I may
contact my ship and have myself beamed aboard."

And with that, King downed the rest of his neglected beer and called
for another round. "Please, Mr. Spock, take a seat."

Spock nodded as he sat at the table.

"I'm sorry we can't order you a Romulan Ale, as I don't think they
carry that at Sloman's." Stephen chuckled, but thought to himself
that they might indeed carry Romulan Ale at that!

"I think I will have a Dr.Pepper. If I surmise correctly, we are in
Nevada near the turn of the Millenia 2000. I have had Dr. Pepper on a
previous visit to your approximate time period, although on that trip
we visited San Francisco, the future home of Starfleet Headquarters."

Suddenly the bartender, a Mr. Fricke, hovered obligingly beside
Spock. "OOH! Mr. SPOCK! I have admired you from afar since I was a
child! And to think that I would meet you HERE on my very first day
of work...What would you like to drink?" he said as he took Spock's
order and left the table unsteadily. Spock had cocked his head and
raised his eyebrow at Mr. Fricke, and Fricke had swooned and nearly
fell to the floor, but recovered himself quickly and went to get the
drink.

"We were preparing to explore a srange craft in orbit of your mood,
Luna. I was standing on the transporter pad awaiting beam-down when
the seemingly dormant craft fired a beam at Enterprise and I was
beamed here. Very interesting. Gentlemen..." he said as he lifted his
glass toward the two authors, "I believe 'the game is afoot', as an
old Vulcan, T'Pal is credited with saying 200 years ago."

"We were preparing to explore a srange craft in orbit of your moon,

"I'm Rod Serling and this is Stephen King," Rod said as he stretched
out his hand towards this tall strange man, if that's what he is, Rod
thought.

Avoiding the outstretched hand, Spock replied, "You are a very astute
observer, Sir, in that I can see that you are puzzled at my genetic
makeup. I am 1/2 Vulcan and 1/2 human. That should clear up any
confusion on your part."

RIGHT! Thought Rod. I remember now, that excellent TV show that had
come on after my Twilight Zone went off the air. But how can this be?
How can this FICTIONAL character have walked into Sloman's out of
nowhere? For THAT matter, HOW can I be here?

Rod looked at King, the only one of the three who belonged in this
space/time continuum. This time, it was the two humans who raised
their eyebrows.

"It would seem that we have been trapped in one of our own stories,"
Rod said to Stephen.

And Spock got out his tricorder and pointed at various things around
Sloman's. There is something not quite right here, Spock thought, but
held his own counsel till he had a better grasp of what was really
going on.

"I think we should go to Martha's Boarding House and see about
getting rooms for you two," Stephen said, as he pulled out his Sprint
cellphone to phone Martha. "I think you're gonna be here a while."

As a one time columnist and tv host for PUSH I have come out of semi-retirement to encourage Lance Poster to continue his fight for the rights of all free living spirits! There were many driven to despair when last written we saw that all that was left of Lance Poster were marks of blood left on the brick walls in a prison where Lance Poster lived his last "known appearance". It was assumed that Lance climbed the wall so he could see out of the only window and that he lost his life behind those prison walls.
It is with great joy that I herald Lance's return from the dead!

Rock On STAY FREE LANCE! STAY FREE!!!!!!

In the interest of the press, UbbeAgonistes, since you have tracked him perhaps you can send out smoke signals so that I can follow what Lance has been recently fomenting!!!!!
