OK, double checked my binary->dec and hex->dec conversions and I'm nearly positive they are all correct.

So that leaves
1 - final answer in wrong base
2 - base assumption of functions is wrong

Mind. stuck. on. math. problem. .... can't. remember. post. etiquette. ...

Sorry about that, it wasn't intentional Embarassed

. Just trying to get 6 tasks going here at work (2 compiling programs, 1 code release, 1 test qual, 1 new test pattern, 4 people bugging me about each one ... and a partridge in a pear tree), answering 2 phone calls and having 3 people stop by my desk in between the 4 posts, converting hex/binary to decimal, getting new functions plugged into my spreadsheet, etc, etc.

So no, it was not trying to get my #s up, just trying to get my new findings out (and they happen to come in the random disjointed manner in which I'm able to work on them).

What I SHOULD be doing is waiting until I get home to do all this. But ARG addiction is a nasty, nasty thing Laughing

I am positive that weephun would have figured that out for himself if they just gave him another 10 minutes or so to finish that phone call, answer the three new questions and re-run several processes that failed while he tried the first three iterations....
