Are we on about a slighty darker purple edging around the card before it hits the silver foil? If so I have that. Or have I completely missed something on this thread????? lol

Nope, thats been mentioned before and discredited, we're talking about the border of the card which has no pixelated border, so as a result of this could the missing 8bit code were looking for be a variant of:

nopixels

Now we just need someone to check it because cryptology is not my strong point. Very Happy

But can someone check the nopixels code theory?
I doubt that MC would go and knowingly print cards with a sub standard boarder when all the others are of a superb quality. I think it's a clue, but then it could just be yet another dead end and the only way of solving this is by waiting for a few years for someones PC to give the answer :p

I'm with you chichiri, this card definitely has a pixellated border - it is part of the pixel set!!

http://www.perplexcity.com/cards/view.build?card=251

Another card in the set is #249 The Angel's Key (the other 2 haven't yet been released), and it is equally difficult to see on this card too but it is there.

It can only be seen in the corners of the card (as on every other card) and it looks kinda like a check border. Hope you can see this now unrealt87 as im sure this is another dead end

I'd still prefer that it be checked as a key. You never know.
MC has said that all we need to solve the cards are on the cards themselves, so why something like this?

Doesn't work.

Silver pixel cards have very difficult to see border markings. See both #249 and #251.

This is a dead end.

Move along, nothing to see here.

Smile

Oh well, better warm up your PCs and get the coffee, cos we'll be waiting a long time for this one if we brute force it. Razz

Right, this is the thirteenth labour, right? So why don't we look at the details of the previous 12? see if we can work out some kind of correlation that can be applied to this puzzle?

Well...the fifth labour involved shoveling BULL excrement and there are FIVE bulls heads on the card!

anyone want to try bullshit as the keyword?

not particularly child friendly, but might as well try!

no da

EDIT: WHAT, this site doesn't even censor that!!!

I have just noticed that "hercules" is an anagram for "securehl" (or lh at the beginning or end etc.) I couldn't find anything that leaps out at me with a google search for "secure hl" or "secure lh" - anyone else notice this?

A completely random thought on what you have just posted, but:

the l & h could apply to low and high as in levels of security?
