Whilst I realise this is only a red card and therefore should be as easy as it looks I got bored a little while ago and decided to search for what probably was a non-existant secondary meaning.

Namely the fact that apart from the middle of the pie, the numbers 1, 4 and 7 are consistantly the boldest on the rest of the card.

This struck me as too much of a coincidence to not have a meaning and after much trawling of the net I believe I have discovered one. Albeit a little obscure.

Combining the number 147 and pi leads to an object called the Jacob's Wheel. This tracks the astrological energies of the universe and is based upon a 147 year master cycle. Additionally the components of the wheel exist in ratios which approximate to pi.

This probably doesn't mean much, but I think that's a picture of a cake, not a pie.

You're right, that must be it! I've seen one, but never eaten one I'm afraid. They're not common on this side of the pond.

I'm from Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire, where pork pies originally come from, so feel quite protective towards this card.

Oh, btw, you can't write this number out in full as it's an infinitely recurring decimal. So just writing Pi on the card solve page will be fine, I'd imagine!

Anyone checked if the number pictured on the card really is PI? (OK, most of us can see that the first 5-6 decimals are right, but what about further on?) Is there maybe errors in that number with hidden meaning?
I must agree with Gibbet, this was too simple, even for a red card.

I know alot of ya'll are from across the pond, but to this crazy Yankee - that meat pie is just about the grossest thing I have ever seen. I am sure it tastes nice and all, but jeez!
