 		it's actually 'passivist' (one who is passive) and is labelled correctly on the crossword.

The unfilled word is probably "machinations".

On another note: the filename of the puzzle is kinda strange...

My thoughts exactly ( see earlier post).
Why go to the trouble of making the crossword puzzle only to have 3 nonsense words in it?

Tried Rot(ing) etc but nothing.

I agree LP could well be Legion Pharma.

FP = Front Page, File Path??

Wasn't one of those guys in that weird dancing video wearing a Euro shirt? Does anybody know who he is? I'm pretty sure the dancing guys in the videos work at Ritual, but apart from Tom Mustaine I don't recognize any of them. I don't know, might be something there.
