Has anyone notice the background of the card? It looks to me that the picture of Albert is on a computer screen with something like Paint Shop Pro running. Also, it seems to be on the tints window with all options turned down to 0. Perhaps if anyone can scan the card and try this it may reveal something.
Another possibility is the actually picture itself. As mentioned there is a close-up of the picture straight on on the www.knowltonmosaics.com site, and can be used to work out the corresponding number in placement of each die making up his face. Should this be checked? Would it be too clever to put a hidden message encoded in ascii perhaps? Just a thought.

The progame Aplication is Macromedia freehand,... anyways the picture of einstien is made up of dice yeah, each dice represents a number one to six and they form a grid. i aint got time to figure that out right now thogh ahh well.

clue Somehow I just looked closely at this card today.
I am reiterating the salient points raised by others and adding a couple more. Let me first state that the idea by strifey is excellent and that I am certain there is more to find:
* the clue is in t - following down the next word is attributes
* the mirror writing of the clue referencing Einstein's quote - I held the card up briefly to a mirrror but didn't have a chance to look at it closely.
* the orange dotted arrow around the image which seems to indicate the order to follow for the code
* the dice used are varied in grey scale and not all usual dots.
* the writing in the "who am I" may be part of what you can read from the mirrored view of the card.
On vacation - will post more if I can, I know we can solve this one

If you look on the website of the guy who does these pictures, you can get a clearer image of the dice that makes up the picture. I haven't had time to really study this to see whether there is a hidden code in the numbers corresponding to the dice faces, but feel free to knock yourselves out :p

just a comment
if this were a higher value card i'd suggest
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the inertial frame
but as its only orange i guess the obvious solve stands

I also question the status of this card as solved. There are several unexplained clues- the mirror writing, the "clue is in t" and the marks in the 'who am i' text that we haven't been able to decipher.
thinking that t might = time I wondered if those marks stood for a physics formula? maybe the "who am i" is another physicist?

mod help Not sure what the issue is with this computer. I would have deleted the extra posts myself but after someone replies that option is not available, so if a mod could clean this up I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I must say I'm also one of the doubters of the solved status. Considering how complicated the #041 was, a card with a lower number, was, and how it also had a first obvious solution, and then a considerably more complicated one, I'm inclined to believe that there is more to this card.
