 		Open Arena!!!
Free game download that a bunch of us are playing
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to let ya know that there is a game called Open Arena, and its based off the Quake 3 Arena engine, the entire thing is a free download (~300MB) and requires no install and doesnt require Q3A.

Me and a bunch of the others in #iasc have been playing it and getting on Skype conference calls to talk together as we do so.

So, if you wanna play a game with a bunch of ARGers, pop into #iasc and see if we have a game time that day. We currently have a dedicated server that we (may) be playing on, just for us ARG pplz.

and the SVN isnt necessary. as i said, just download, and unrar, and ur good to go.

 		I'm part of this. It's quite fun, although low graphics, a very simple, addictive user interface. Just remember to change your name in the settings, and turn on auto download for when we hit new maps so you don't disconnect. For any other help, see Cheeso, me, FranzKafka, Air_wick(He isn't in this, so far as we know, but apparently he plays it a llot =P), [mando], or redct.
