Very curious, I used to have one of those toys in prod3 when i was a kid. The only link i can think of is with the main page of imfriendly. Will keep looking. Also the 0scan000003 is labeled 3/6 which fits in with our "sign language" pics.

The thumbs.db file is generated by the Windows operating system. It is a database file containing the small images displayed when you view a folder in "thumbnail" view so i think may be able to ignore that. (although i will look into it a bit more!)

I have sent a quick email to Daniel anyway to find out who they are and how they got the files, who sent them etc

So is the game back? I also recieved this email; do you think this is the ARG returning or just something to remind us not to forget about September? Also who is this Dan figure, and have we seen user45SPLATpemesent.com before?

How did you get daniel's email Russel? It is masked in the copy I was sent. Finally I have compared the thumbs.db to one I found on my HDD (google desktop is just great, eh?) and found nothing untoward. Could the images be stegged?

Seeing as there's the x/6 thing on most of the pictures I guess by the time we get all 6 it will be september and we'll be able to do something with them. What the other thing is there for though I don't know.

changed from big ben to the arrow
jpg.. clicked on it and then found this:

Ok, so my guess is that there are 4 more of the beauts to be found. Time to start the easter egg hunt. They may all already be available, and just need finding. Some may be parcelled out later. Who knows. I'm going to poke around a bit, see if I can find more. I'm also guessing that this numbering is not related to the sign language thing now...

Another observation I had today, on the main imfriendly site, there the 'N' in TTUnit is backwards. This could just be to look cool. But the backwards 'N' character is the 10th letter of the Russian alphabet. There are also 10 dots (in a pattern) between the TTUnit and 'September.' Maybe we're starting Sept. 10th? Maybe something else? Maybe complete coincidence?

Just tossin' ideas around at this point.

Heh, 0scan000004.jpg is actually a clickable pop-up that appears when you go to http://www.pemesent.com/. click it and lo! and behold, 0scan000003.jpg appears.
Digging around hasn't revealed anything, yet. Presumably they want us to go to pemesent.com every once in a while until september to complete our collection (gah, who needs cards, eh?).
