N9748C

N9748C, the number on the plane that Grace checked out.

And this from the FAA office of Public Affairs:

Quote:
Movie Industry:
Reserved fictitious tail nos. are: N88892, N9748C, N9747P

So, since they had a limited number of tail nos. they were allowed to use, I'm guessing this number has no relevance as far as game clues go?

Little more info...

The registry N9748C has been used in many movies and TV series up to now, such as Dallas, and the TV series Peter Benchley's Amazon.

Lingering Question

Kinda strange that they lingered on the N number though if it isn't significant. I have a feeling it may come up later...obviously not through the national aviation registration database, but perhaps through an in-game website. It may be necessary for some other in-game reason. I'm keeping the number handy for reference.

Oh, I definitely have it written down. I'm sure it'll be pertinent in some way or another. Unless it's a red herring (??).

Just a little FYI.
