Well I remember that the Martian Buddy one was just to get a code for a locker.

As far as I remember, you found a message that said you won a promotional award from Martian Buddy. You went to the site and used this message to get the code for a locked cabinet in the game...

I don't think it's an ARG either. The Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory "Little Chiquita" puzzle looked like an ARG, though.
