Honeslty, there was nothing to gain from bringing the servers down for that length of time, and from failing to nudge us.
Remember this is an interactive entertainment media, and the only reason for the PMs to give us nothing to do or allow the experience to stagnate is because they couldn't be arsed to continue. They have no more material to give us because it's all classified, pending the release of SiN Episodes Pt 1, so the game is dead. Ritual can't afford to run this thing for fun!
Just trust me... When the episodes are released we'll contact Ritual and get the lowdown on whether they had anything continuing on from the money trailers, but the likelihood in the opinion of any Ritualite is that they thought it would get a laugh!
