Firewall Movie Game Very reminiscent of the various "escape from the room" flash games out there but tied into Harrison Ford's new movie, Firewall .

Stuck Really frustrating
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I assume the User ID: on the card in the wallet is the login id for the latptop, but I can't read the ID. It looks like700CRJOY to me but those could be 0's or O's and the J(if it is a J) is very faint. I even tried taking a screenshot and blowing the image up. but no luck. Any help on what it says?
Thanks,
-Dave

Looks like:

700CRuDY
to me. By the way, no need to blow it up in any other program - just right click and use Flash's own "Zoom In" function.

The wallet is under some magizines on the desk and the pass code is "jack stanfield".
I'm currently stuck with the bottom left and right slots vacant and trying to figure out how to get whatevers under the couch with the RC car.

Beat it.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
To get the key under the couch, combine the battery (gotten from inspoect the radio) with the RC Car, THEN combine the magnet with the RC Car.

combine the car with the battery then combine the car with the magnet.
Use the car on the screen just before the table zoom, then use the controller and you get the key under the desk
*edit: Dionysus had solved this already but I hadnt refreshed my forum view before posting, sorry

You need to do a very trivial-looking thing...
I beat it in 26:47, without reading any of the hints already in this thread... frustrating and annoying how I overlooked quite a few things like
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
it took me ages to notice the remote control and the drawer with the powercord... and the hardest was finding the camera, which I really only noticed in the end... somehow I was thinking the TV was showing the exit from the OTHER SIDE, so I had had to do something with magnets and cameras AFTER I escaped from the room... doh
Slightly OT, but did anyone else watch the trailer for Firewall and think it was giving away the entire movie?? It contains a LOT of the plot it seems, including the major (Ransom-like) plot-twist...

I agree with this, I would warn people if they want to be surprised at all not to watch the trailer! I am disappointed now and it makes me not want to go see this movie. Perhaps they wanted people to know there would be action-adventure in the movie, not just hacker computer intrigue.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
also if people are having trouble finding the cellphone, I think the location changes as does the pass for the computer - I played twice and the second time I couldn't find the phone anywhere. I was able to leave the room without it.

I need a better hint than that...

I have a 5 digit door code but there are 6 spots on the keypad? WTF? Adding 0 before or after doesn't work.

There are two different codes that relate to the door. The one you confirm with the cube is not the number for the keypad. The keypad number can also be found by using the computer. You might want to look again at the options on the computer screen.

I think I'm still screwed because the option to "read security code" is red X'd and unclickable, even after hitting the reset button on the cube screen.
Oh well.
