[Email] From "A Fan"

Noticing his fascination with eyes, I decided to indulge him in his interest, with a quick Babylon 5 inspire lesson of cryptic-talk.

Quote:

An empty eye sees through to an empty heart.
Yours is empty Arthur. Look into mine.

He responded this morning, from a west-coast based server:

Quote:
Do others' words not invoke nearly sacrificial impulses, deliberate
enjoyment through her expense?

A Fan

PS - Who's stupid now?

Interesting response from a kidnapper. He threatens me for my shout out, but then entices me to continue... or am I reading too deeply and he is just referring to me/us/ARGTALK as the entity having repressed him before?

Taking the first letter from each word http://www.suzeejones.com/downinsidethe.html
Is that new? I can't stand to watch, nor listen to, those those videos; long enough to find out.

Video Narration: "The real world is merely an inconvenience in which we spend as little time as possible going from room to room." Google didn't turn up any similar statements on the web.

The text on the webpage seems to be the first line of a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm called "Godfather Death", with a few errors sprinkled throughout. These errors are single character replacements in certain words. Since I pulled them out for myself, here there are, numbered by position:

Code:
 4) e=a : hed
 6) j=e : childrjn
 7) i=d : ani
 8) q=a : wqs
13) e=a : end
16) w=v : giwe
18) w=e : wven
24) m=a : clme
29) u=n : kuew
31) s=a : whst
35) x=a : hxs
36) z=s : troublz
42) s=e : grsat
52) l=h : le

Unfortunately, no anagram of the changed letters leaps out at me, nor do I see a pattern in the words chosen. There probably is something, of course...
