SUZEE'S RESCUE!

ARGTalk wrote:

I'm sitting here crying as I type this, so if there are typos or some of it doesn't make sense, that's just too bad.

I am absolutely ecstatic to announce that, after many hours of thorough searching, the local Chicago authorities have found Suzee in Oz Park, in the general area of the Tin Man statue shown in the image found on her web site. She had been buried alive and was found and rescued in the nick of time, as it is almost certain she could not have lasted much longer. Although I don't have any details since it has all happened just today, I am told that she is in serious but stable condition and is extremely dehydrated and emaciated. Thank God, and to all of you, that she was found in time.

I've also been told that a search of Arthur Fanelli's home near Oz Park has turned up nothing, as he has apparently fled, taking clothes and personal belongings with him.

I can't even begin to tell you how relieved and grateful I am that she is safe, although that relief is tempered by the guilt of my role in all of this. Without the work of all of the people online helping to solve this mystery and the cooperation of the local authorities, this situation could have easily turned out tragically different. I honestly don't know how I can ever find a way to thank everyone involved.

Arthur Fanelli is still missing, is this the end?.......

i can't imagine that this is the end, i mean he obviously WANTED us to find suzee. its not like we out smarted A Fan and foiled his plans, we did exactly what he wanted us to do, so i dunno, something is obviously going to happen...or maybe thats just wishful thinking. also the possibility that suzee was in on all of this, and we are still playing suzee's big game. i dunno,,,,time to play the waiting game.

I don't think Suzee was a part of this but I agree it isn't over.

Update on ARGTalk... I'm not sure, maybe this really is the end?

Quote:
A Final Decision
After hours and hours of deliberation and yet another sleepless night, I regret to announce to everyone that I have made a final and somewhat momentous decision. I will be closing ARGTalk for good immediately.

If I've learned one thing from this recent experience, it's that the line between reality and fantasy is not something that should be toyed with; it's just too dangerous in the long run. I don't believe "A Fan" is unique. There are way too many people like him out there to be fooling around with creating worlds of fiction for them to stumble in to.

I probably won't stop checking in on the world of ARGs but I won't be actively involved in them anymore. It takes a much stronger and braver man than me to do this sort of thing, I've decided.

And so I apologize to everyone out there who felt betrayed by my initial deception and for the eventual consequences of Suzee's real abduction. Please believe me that none of that was my intent in all this, but there's nothing I can do to change it now.

So this is good-bye. For all the creators here at ARGTalk, I'd like to thank all of you for helping us get through this. We couldn't have done it without you. We hope that our efforts to educate, entertain, and excite you along the way have paid off.

See you again somewhere, some time.

ARGTalk
