An interesting puzzle from the band TOOL Greetings,
My name is boogati and I am a member of the website Toolarmy.com. We are having alittle trouble with some puzzles the band Tool has been sending through their intermidiary named Blair. They seem relitivley easy compared to ourcolony so i thought i would give you guys a crack at it. The band is into alchemy and as alchemists like to do, they hide clues in there daily writing. The clue in particular is in a news post recieved on July 7, 05 and is in morse code (http://www.toolband.com ). There may be other clues we are not aware of in previous posts aswell. If you have any questions I will be monitoring this thread and will answer them to the best of my ability. Happy hunting and thanks from everyone at Toolarmy

we came up with that as well the problem is there are no spaces in the code so that leads to multiple combinations.....also for your reference he says a word (it escapes me at the moment) 3 times followed by a series of dots to space the words out...ive been wondering if they had any significance. THanks again

The morse translation I got didn't work at all. Then I thought to take the dashes out, as it seemed weird to have a lot of single dashes. Then, I got this:
SIE
Which is 'it' in German.
And then I have no idea.

Yeah, I doubt it's anything, there are too many possibities for a translation. "Sie" can mean she, her, they, them and plural you in German.

***-**--*-- can meam many things.
I have tried just about all combinations. The only one that doesn't seem random is: 31M
This could be a date. 31 could be a day of a month and M could stand for a day of the week (that would only leave us with Monday). Interestingly enough, the only Monday 31st from now to the end of the year is October 31. Halloween seem like an appropriate date for something interesting, seeing how much the tool crew likes superstition.
But, only time will tell!

the only thing i've found:
http://www.toolband.com/secrets/crypto.html
this is supposed to be hidden in the menu on the left, but i can't find the actual link anywhere. there are two links to another page, though.
as far as i can tell, there's nothing there except a list of dates and x/y coordinates.
...that's all i got...

On the "Toolband.com" area, on the left hidden inside the brown twisty graphic, I found:
http://www.toolband.com/secrets/renne/main.html
Interesting reading...
