OK, my confusions now lie with. (despite the misc section of the finish site)
1/ What idenby mystery of a hidden file? I take it they mean that one of the mp3s mentioned it? The message reads:
"Yeah... this is what happens when one of the puppetmasters accidentally leaves on a CD the remnants of a test puzzle, and the team has to cover its collective arse. Apologies for all that. Hope you enjoyed. - The Carer PMs"
2/ shuork.mp3? umm... This isn't going to be another building.jpg is it?
3/ Umm, so what happened? Was it possible to stop it, I guess so...

The solutions are up. It is a terrible end to the game. So, we make our decision, expecting the decision to lead on to a bigger story, but it just stops. WTF!!!

suhork.mp3, i think, steve. Can't download it, can you? Please post.
I'm actually angry, hope this was a practice for a project that will be thought through a little better.

Also, if the game was designed to end after we decided who to kill, WHAT WAS THE POINT IN THE DECISION!!!???!!! The end has really ruined this game.

Ah shit, I speak French as well! Can't help but think that if they'd given us time to discover this we could have made contact with Dubois and saved the day....this is a definite anti-climax.

I hope you're right. I think we should raise this in the PM chat next week. Apart from the ending this has been excellent, they've obviously put a lot of time into things and know what they're doing, it's just a shame they didn't see it through. I get the feeling they were either running a tight budget or a tight schedule.
So yeah, crappo ending but promising stuff. We expect great things next time!

Well, it's over and I enjoyed it. The puzzles were mostly very well set, for building.jpg I'd actually tried numbers on the site of each of the colours, just not of both per line Oh well.
It looks as if talking to Mr. Dubois may not have helped. Gareth is dead too, didn't mention a suicide or anything, so someone else cleaned up the whole sordid mess. As far as I was aware, Dubois was aware of what was going on anyway.
Anyway, it was suitably multimedia (phone, email, real life, quite a few sites, letters, CDs). And what was there was enjoyable.
I think there may be a bit of a sour taste in that we actually didn't win. We lost! Our mission was to save them and they're all dead. If we'd chosen one or the other and had a less negative headline, or indeed if we'd contacted an insider and stopped it, the same ending would have seemed fitting!
So no sour grapes, it was pretty well put together, they were pretty patient with the puzzles (even gave us the "counting" clue), eventually they decided enough was enough and to bring it to a conclusion. They may even have picked up the mobile messages right up to the last minute to save everyone!
So, congrats to the Denbys and Co. good chatting to your characters and good luck with future attempts!

Yeah, I think that sums it up pretty well SteveC. It still seems a rather...abrupt ending, even if we picked the right option. I guess I was just hoping it would go on longer, I was really enjoying it. Will be fun to see what else they come up with.

Yeah I guess... I missed that no., I ws away and didnt update myself thoroughly on my return. Lesson learned.
This was my first start-to-finish ARG! (unless you count LegionPharma. Please don't.) So it will always have a place in my heart, and I really hope we get more from this team.
Thw writing for the most part was excellent, wasn't it? And Amanda's comments on Kyle's site.... the little touches really fleshed out the characters very well. Well done.
