Days 1 & 2 Discussion here

Not that there seems to be all that much to discuss yet. Wink

[WILD SPEC]I think Simone's actually pimping them out in a literal sense. Maybe the strangers aren't actually strangers.[/WILD SPEC]

I can see the twist already....

The parents are actually the ones screwed up...and the 'cult' is just your friendly neighborhood brothel!

Email domains don't seem to exist

Anyone else disappointed that the domains from the email addresses don't exist or are not game related? I realize this isn't a true ARG, but it would been a nice touch... I thought the sign-up page said something about needing a login to access web sites as part of the story?

http://customimports.com = redirects to seeq.com - blocked by my corporate firewall

http://netsource.com = redirects to some online store with no products

http://leftcoastmonthly.com = nada

Well, it'd be a nice touch, but it's probably unnecessary for purposes of telling the story, and therefore an unnecessary expense.

In unrelated news, anyone else think it was a little odd that Lisa's mother is on disability leave because of this?

not particularly, she's probably had a nervous breakdown because her daughter's turned into a religiously serving sl**.

Not odd, just over the top Smile They might be a particularly oldschool family?

My brother moved to Houston, and it's been depressing my mom quite a bit.

If I were to suddenly pick up and join some freaky sex cult, showing no remorse with participating in groupthink against my own parents, and then cutting them off from communicating with me, I am sure my own mother would go absolutely cuckoo.

Heh, perhaps. Another thing I found odd was the way Don was eager to get Samantha to publish the story of the cult and Lisa's involvement with it .I certainly would not want anyobody knowing about something my daughter (if I had one) would be part of that could be dangerous to her. Its as if he just wants publicity though it.

It's hard to believe that it's been more than thirty years since we used to perch on the Wall on College Avenue, smoking a joint after one of Dr. B's lectures on Law and Ethics and giggling at the parade of absurdity that was Penn State circa 1972. Remember those all-nighters at the Collegian when you, Tom and I would be trying to put the paper to bed, arguing over every word as if a misplaced comma would prolong the war?

Last time we spoke was at Dr. B's retirement ceremony in the summer of 1979--you were with a charming Englishman and Peter and I were newlyweds--but I've been following your career in The Penn Stater and am really proud of what you've achieved.

OMG, guys. O. M. G.

Yesterday, I swear to Gawd, I sat on the Wall on College Avenue after my Psych lecture, smoked a cig, and talked with a friend about how big Penn State is getting.

Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

* CreativeEmbassy dies at the ARGishness.
* CreativeEmbassy hunts through his dad's Penn Stater magazines, looking for a Jane Perry. No such luck yet.

Maybe because you got her name wrong? It's Jane Sperry. Razz
