CodeRunner
Geo-caching Meets Espionage?

I'm shocked that no one else has called this out.

So, for about 99 cents, I blew through about 3 hours and a lot of thrills trying to rush through CodeRunner. Good production value, enjoyable storyline, and a pretty snazzy interface. After enjoying Zombies Run, this was kinda nice to get caught up in.

A few things sold me on gifting it to some friends:
- Solid, though not controversially non-standard storyline
- Excellent multimedia presentation (most of which you're able to play back as you build an arsenal of data)
- Social sharing and enforcement (getting kudos from other players *AND* the PM staff was a point of pride for me)
- Respectable privacy policy
- Even More Respectable Practices
- Checkpoint/Chapter system with multiple plot paths and endings

As you can tell from the video, they also aren't taking themselves Way Too Seriously™.

I'm running around the SF Bay Area using an obvious handle. If you're out here and can spare a buck for the experience (and have an iPhone/Pod/Pad/Thing until they push out the Android version), I'd give it a go. Hell, give me somewhere interesting to go and promise to share the love and I might consider just gifting it to you...Smile

P.S.: I gotta admit that I've cheated and also set up some Dead Drops/Caches while in a moving car. Makes for some interesting times!
