I do not know how many of you are into fantasy football but I have an
EA Sports Fantasy Football League that I want to open to you guys. I
have a maximum of 31 slots to offer (32 including me). This is the
first time that I will be using EA Sports to run a league so it could
be really great...or merely good. So far I have set up the rules and
tried to understand what everything means.
Currently the league is setup with two divisions and 16 players. If I
can get 32 players I will change it to 4 divisions. This will be a
head to head league and the schedule is that you play 14 opponents
once and there will be a 3 round playoff with 8 teams.
I would please like to get at least 10 players into the league.
I will now try to explain how I am running the league since I want
people to be happy and not just take up space.

ROSTERS
1 quarterback
2 running backs
3 wide receivers
1 tight end
1 offensive utility player
1 team defense and special team
1 kicker

SCORING – Individual Passing
Passing TD is worth 3 points
A bonus of 3 points if the Passing TD is between 50 and 100 yards
Passing 2 point conversion is worth 1 point
1 point for every 25 passing yards
A bonus of 5 points if you get to 300 passing yards

SCORING – Individual Rushing
Rushing TD is worth 6 points
A bonus of 3 points if the Rushing TD is between 50 and 100 yards
Rushing 2 point conversion is worth 2 point
1 point for every 10 rushing yards
A bonus of 5 points if you get to 100 passing yards

SCORING – Individual Receiving
Receiving TD is 6 points
Receiving a 2 point conversion is worth 2 points
You get 1 point for every 10 receiving yards

SCORING – Team Defense
Defensive Fumble Recovery is worth 2 points
Defensive TD is worth 6 points
A Bonus of 6 points if the TD is between 50 and 100 yards
Interceptions are worth 2 points
Sacks are worth 2 points
Safeties are worth 2 points
SCORING – Team Special Teams
Special Teams TD is worth 6 points.
A Bonus of 6 points if the TD is between 501 and 100 yards
SCORING – Place Kicking
Extra Points are worth 1 point
Field Goals are worth 3 points

Quickly now with the rest.
Players go on waivers for 2 days after being released. Then they
become free agents. Free agents will be locked 30 minutes before the
first game of the week and will unlock every Wednesday at 11:00 am
Eastern time.

I will not be approving trades but there will be a three day approval
time where the other owners can vote the trade up or down. ¼ of the
owners will need to veto a trade for it to be overturned.

This will be a live, 15 round draft, with a 2 minute time limit per draft pick.
I have not yet decided when the draft will be but it will be sometime
around two weeks before the season starts.
