It's not stupidly hard! It's "semi hard", which apparently means impossible.

There are 115 characters indicating either a 23 or 5 letter binary alphabet (115 = 5x23)

Going with 5 means it's either morse code digits, or a Bacon Cipher (Bacon's Biliteral Cipher).

Code:
thISt aabba g
eXTsU abbab o
rELoO abbab o
kssTR aaabb d

RobMagus found the answer to 45 this by solving 44. I assume the answer comes from naming the figures and using the numbers for letters in their names.

I agree, cause level 46 has the title "That's it" and features a collage of several of the previous puzzles in this trail.

It is made up out of the pictures from levels 1 through 9 and also 33 and 34. Significant? Also, the orientation of the pictures may be a kloo.

The first letters of the pages from which the pictures are taken are:
sehyithicun.

First letters of the names of the pictures are:
pekscrcpcaw.

First letters of the solves for those pictures are:
ehyithicvnl.

(those letters are all listed numerically according to level of puzzle)

Anagramming those sets reveals that the second group doesn't have enough vowels to be useful. First and third have a -lot- of stuff to go through.

My guess is that we need to either find an ordering principle for the pictures, or that this has nothing to do with letters. I've tried "fnord" and "trail" to no avail.

I leave it to others now!

I'm
guessing 46 is the last one too considering a) there is no /fifties/ b)
the u/p box said "last set" and c)the title of this one is "That's it"

In regards to 46: I'm not seeing 5 as part of the image.

Also, the first letter of the titles of the pages are EELLFOPIMS (without 5 since I don't see it present).

Correct. I assumed that all the puzzles were there in my zeal. Oops! Anyways, puzzle five is on an "index" page, so possibly that's why it was left out. However, all the other puzzles in the first two user/pass groups are included. That may or may not be relevant.

Incorrect. I dunno how you got those letters. Without the index, all that would happen is that the first "i" would be removed from my previous collection, resulting with "sehythicun". Which is not the answer, by the way. It would've been cool if it was, eh? Anyways, you can check that for yourself in the attached edited picture in which I've marked all the bits with the name of their page and their level. EDIT: Oops. He's right. See next post.

I just opened it to do the marking, and found nothing out of the ordinary. Also, that -is- indeed from another level - it's from the picture on "travel", level 6.

Okey doke. So now what? Anagramming SEHYTHICUN no longer gets "SHINY ICE HUT", but it does get "HIS CHUTNEY", so it's all good. :j

aznxasazn refers to the titles of the pages, not the page addresses. An example of a title of a page is:

level 46 has the title "That's it"

I didn't get 46, but I found the real answer to 44:

Duis autem vel eum iriure dolor in hendrerit in vulputate velit esse molestie consequat, vel illum dolore eu feugiat nulla facilisis at vero eros et accumsan et iusto odio dignissim qui blandit praesent luptatum zzril delenit next site named momentum augue duis dolore te feugait nulla facilisi. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit, sed diam nonummy nibh euismod tincidunt ut laoreet dolore magna aliquam erat volutpat.

http://conswiki.de/fourties/momentum.htm

And the answer to that is Cicero.. my previous post is updated with the right solutions.
