Maybe it's a British thing... I know I found it odd to finally watch MindCandy's presentation and to hear them speak (with a bit of an ACCENT! ) - and yes, sometimes it did sound a bit like "urgh" (or even "ugh").
Not that it matters. I think it's just the Saying-The-Letters technique over the As-One-Word method.
Or maybe I'm taking it too seriously. A.R.G.!

A.R.G. = three syllables
arg = one syllable
.: arg wins!
Also, if you're frustrated with a puzzle, you can go "arrgggh" and be all "whoo, double meaning!"

Go figure. All these years, I've been pronouncing it "grah".
On the other hand, thanks to this poll, I recently discovered I may be dyslexic.

Well until recently Ive always, unwittingly, pronounced ARG as three seperate syllables, Ay Arr Jee. But I say ARG, as in Arg, now. QBKooky, at what point did MindCandy say Urgh in the webcast??
Haha Oliverkeers13, thats great

Konashark says something along the lines of "those damn computer friends of yours".
