In fairness to the writer, I was the last one he spoke to, and I was difficult to get a hold of, so I spoke to him probably right before his deadline. He probably had most of the story written and then I come in with all this ARG business and he probably thought "Oh great, I'd need another 200 words to describe this" and decided it was best not to include it.
