Global ARG's?

Hi, hope I didn't post on the wrong area - but here goes:

I've partially followed The Beast (that was cool!) - found The Hiding Room recently (Sable+Schuck) - and then this forum.

Only problem with most of the ARG's is they're generally localized to a region (The Beast = USA, S+S = UK, and looking at the Jibriel one, it's USA again). Is there any ARG's that's around that's running without any 'call international phones' from anywhere in the world? (eg. Australia), or prizemoney not restricted to 'citizens of <insert country>'?

Your best bet for globally reaching ARG's are probably some of the larger games. PerplexCity is one that could fit your needs, also the upcomming game Aware2 which just finished a teaser episode that had worldwide interaction as well. Please don't bypass all the great smaller scale games though. Just about any ARG can be followed from anywhere, and just because you may not get a phonecall is not a good enough reason not to play along. You may be pleasantly surprised. Hope that helps.

I think that as many of these arg's are web based, where you actually are doesn't matter.

Rookery Tower is 'set' in New York & Unholy is in the US but it doesn't stop me getting involved (some people might call me darn nosey!!).

As we understand the logistics more on worldwide productions, then more and more international games will start appearing. Just remember, it costs a lot of time and money when these productions start to cross borders. Smile
