 		New York City card trading
Not sure how many NYC people are in on this, but I figured it couldn't hurt to put this up. If I remember correctly there were some regional threads during ILB too.

I finally got 4 packs today, and I'm looking to trade off my doubles. (I'm also willing to sell cards, but I'd prefer to trade for ones I don't have). If you live in the New York area, just send me a PM and we can arrange to meet up. I'm only marginally employed, so my schedule is pretty flexible.

Cards I want to trade off: 15, 19, 19, 46, 46, 74, 87, 105, 112, 170, 185

Cards I have (and thus don't want to trade for): 15, 19, 27, 46, 51, 74, 87, 105, 112, 170, 185, 238, 240

 		Meet-up
Now that I have succumbed to temptation and purchased a few packs of cards, I am willing to set up a NYC meet-up in September to swap cards, have a few drinks or something. SpaceBass - who has a ton of duplicates may participate via cell phone.

If anyone has set-up a card trading event, they could help me understand the logistics.

My idea is to have this somewhere near Toy Tokyo - there are many bars/ restaurants near there in the East Village so finding a place will be easy.

Post in this thread if you are interested. And, even if you aren't trading cards but just want to see your ARGFest buddies, please join in! I miss everyone!

 		I am actually in NYC staying in New Rochelle for the next 3 days on vacation, and am planning to bug my family into taking the 30 min. drive to Toy Tokyo to buy some cards... Very Happy I would love to try to coordinate an informal meetup with anyone who wanted to, but our hotel, which has purpotedly free "high speed internet access" doesn't have a working outlet in our room. .... reply if anyone is free and bored today or till the 5th-ish... I will try to find a place in our hotel to get online. Smile

I'm in the Fordham University library right now. Sneaky sneaky. Very Happy

 		I live in the Bronx, work in lower Manhattan, but I found it cheaper and easier to get my cards through Firebox. Go figure.

This is an interesting point. I ordered 8 packs (2 sets) of cards from firebox and the conversion rate left me with a charge of $40.35 including shipping. That works out to $5.04 (and a fraction) per pack, which is actually about 40 cents less per pack than what I paid in NYC because of the 8.75% sales tax. It really is cheaper to order online, at least in New York, as long as you don't need the immediate gratification you might get by zipping down to Toy Tokyo.

 		Well, seeing as I am in NY right now, I might zip down to Toy Tokyo tomorrow and get a couple packs (my first!) and then order some firebox packs from home once more waves of new cards come out.

 		Live in Harlem, work midtown-- am waiting for my cards from Firebox as god knows Toy Tokyo is not exactly convenient. lol

Would love to trade dupes with anyone interested.
