But in the body:

This is way off base I know, but spec'ing it nonetheless.
#1/6) EMOR DNIL APTR APYD OBBO DYPA RTPA LIND ROME
EYE or I
#2/6) Complete the 3 letter word in the 6 word pattern.
I __ __, O R E, R E F, I T H, T H E, I N K
AM or M
#3/6) Aye. Miner. Forth
D
#4/6) Add same letter to each word to change meaning.
Ring one!
B
#5/6) See pea? Oh, why!
CPOY or COPY
#6/6) 21-21-01-18-05-05-25-05-20-05-01-05
UUAREEYETEAE or Write (Good one Kona!)
IMDB copyright?
Of course it's not 8 letters so means squat:)
Not to mention makes no sense and takes up valuable forum space

Possible answer:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Could it be the copywrite dates on the imbd.com website? If you go to
www.imbd.com and look at the bottom of the page the copywrite dates are 1990-2003 which is eight characters.

I might have wrongly guessed i took a chance but i must admit MrHorrible has a better chance now that i read his post...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I posted Help-Desk, it's the only two words with an - on the page, thinking it said letters at the moment but it says blanks, so i guess we'll see...
And for the record I got #4/6

If it is right...it's too funny. When I posted that above I was looking for 8 letters and just threw it out as wild spec. (Wasn't even going to post it because I thought "Why? If it needs 8 letters?")
If it is indeed right, just goes to show how what one person views as probably "incorrect" can sometimes spur someone else on. Good job! (Even if it's not right...Good Job, because the spec is really sound!)

Is there a chance with the L3 in the body of the text and the L4 at the subject that this is related to L3/Acheron? Anyone's guess?

Not sure I don't know if that's it.
I think that #1 is correct EYE, which can be I.
#2 is AM
#3 I'm not convinced yet. As far as i can tell and I'm not a music person but othwers seem to agree, there is no A minor fourth. More than that, the Homophones for Aye. Miner. Forth would be Eye or I(not A). Minor. Fourth.
#4 I have to agree that it has to be B
#5 Not convinced on this one yet either. Just doesn't feel right. if it was just scrambled letters why not mix it up a little more? What about the punctuation?
#6 seems like it has to WRITE. Homophones for write are also Rite and Wright.
Don't get me wrong, I too sent in the dates but I'm not done trying to figure it out. what does everyone else think?

#1 Eye/I
#2 Am/?
#3 Aye/Eye/I, Miner/Minor, Forth/Fourth
#4 Ring/Wring, One/Won
#5 See/Sea, Pea/Pee, Oh/? Why/Wye
#6 Write/Right/Rite/Wright

That's okay T....it feels a little off to me too. But I thought it was as good a spec. as any ....And I sent it in as well
The CPOY.....seems like it should indeed be "more". But there aren't many words we can make other than the ones given. So I think we have to work with the letters somehow. Just not sure how.
The musical D....I don't have a clue about music or whether or not the clue even refers to it.
Anyway....I guess we'll know more when (if) we hear back:)

336 Hours Tyra Nagi is going to be away from the office for 336 hours (14 Days). Do you think we'll have to wait that long for a reply to our guesses?

And for that matter, why 336 hours?

If I had to hazard a guess, the first impression I got from L3 and L4 was the thought of Level 3 and Level 4, with Level 1 being the first 10 questions on the site, Level 2 being the second set of questions, Level 3 being sent with the initial e-mail the players had to send, and now Level 4- the current set of puzzles we've been given.
(Judges take note: The above is my entry for the longest, most awkward, and most hideously structured sentence of the year competition.
As far as the 336 hours...I hope it's not 14 days until we get responses. That could make things very tiring very quickly. I would have to doubt that's the case though. If it was, why would be sending responses to her supervisor?
And for the record, I recieved 2/6 at 10:56PM last night.
