CherryMay here... as you can tell by my postcount, this is my first ARG! The truth is that I'm more interested in videogames, and ended up here due to the whole ilovebees and origenxbox360 hype. I've always loved riddles, secret messages to find, hidden clues etc... so ARGs are wonderful to me.
Though I've had zero experience with ARGs before, I've had similar interest with a couple of other things that seem just like them... 'armchair treasure hunts' (usually through commercially published books with 'cash prizes'), and a bizarre game called 'Blue Ice' which had The Ultimate Solution, involving more cryptography, over-analysing, red herrings, and cryptic images than I've yet to see in a -real- ARG.
Oh, I should also mention that I'm more interested in the 'G' than the 'AR'... I'm in it for the puzzles, not the strange mail-outs and phonecalls. So -major- thanks to everyone that scans documents for people online to see!

THis is my first ARG since Majestic. Played that one til the end but I am way out of practice now and this felt like a great one to recut my teeth on. So forgive me if I come across as a NOOB. Because I am one. Looking forward to this.

Re: My Weekends I'm glad I'm not the only new one here. I thought I was-how naive. I don't have much of a social life & I love puzzles, so you'll know what I'll be doing Fri, Sat, Sun night.

Don't let the name you.
Just messin' around.
Have always loved puzzles of all types and can appreciate the work that goes into creating them and deciding how hard/intuitive they should be .
I'm hoping for lots of animated exchanges for the duration of this campaign.
I'm a newb, here, so please feel free to spank me when I go too far outside the box.
I am also very interested in the whole SE topic, itself as I see it as a very doable thing. That first step sure is a doozie, though.

Hope I can help 2wicked here; 1st time player from VT. This type of game looks totally cool. I actually stumbled across ilovebees way too late in the game, and have been waiting for an ARG that I could see thru from start to end.
Hope I can make a valuable contribution!

Atrophied reporting in... played a few games in the past (started with ILB, then PXC, dabbled in the Carer and S&S). Hoping for a slightly faster pace with this than PXC has...

It's so nice to see so many new faces! I hope OC will start soon enough to keep all of you interested! Welcome all, and hope you enjoy the ride
I realise that I had not introduced myself in this thread yet, so here goes:
I've been around since fall 2003, when Metacortechs started, which was a Matrix-based grassroots ARG by the excellent Lockjaw PM-team. I've mainly hung around here (and in #unfiction on irc.chat-solutions.org) since then, loosely followed some of the other major games (moderated for Ilovebees, which I admit I did not enjoy too much, mainly because all the action was on the other side of the big pond ) and I 'm hoping OC will be another great grassroots project!

Hi
I'm also new to the ARG thing so this is my maiden voyage so to speak.Hopefully this will be the first of many as I find the different components that make up the games (cryptography, stenography, puzzles, etc) really interesting.Cool to see so many people in the UK on here too
