Woot! I got a brochure in the mail too, but mine had a little extra. The brochure was inside two envelopes. Attached to the inner envelope was a post-it note from Davina, asking Cordelia to mail the envlopes while she was down on earth.
Quote:
Hey Cordelia,
Any chance you could take these down with you? It would be great if you could mail them while you're down there. It sure would help.
And do you think you could make some new envelopes on the ride down? It's not like you'll have anything else to do, haha! Can you put the Chicago return address on them?
Thanks! Davina
Looking at the note I could see an impression of words, so using ashes I highlighted the sorta hidden message...."/newsletters/issue1.pdf star1ight s0bright", star1ight and s0bright are the un and pw. (The "o" in sobright is a zero and the l in starlight is a one.)
Just for completeness my envelope wasmailed from Gary, Indianna.

Wordsearch solved can be viewed here: http://www.triplesix.co.uk/oc/wordsearch.jpg
The letters remaining don't turn up anything significant when ROTed. Maybe I'm looking too hard?

I wish I could remember which address I entered, so I know which mailbox to sit and obsessively check every hour.

brochure Yay, I got one this morning as well, inside two envelopes (one printed, one addressed by hand), no sticky notes .
Postmarked Gary IN, august 16 2005. Got it in Belgium, by the way, so methinks that is pretty darn fast!
Just thought I'd mention it, as I'm all excited!

Anyone noticed in the classified section the contact number #103 turns up 3 times?
[edit] OK, it seems that #103 is the contact for the ad space.

Got my brochure today! Nothing special about mine, same Gary, IN postmark and everything.
It sounds like a pretty sweet trip on the way up there. Can't wait to get those warm socks mentioned in the Personal Comfort Kit!

I got an envelope within an envelope, too. no sticky note, but the inner envelope was folded up about a quarter inch, and the bottom right corner has a green highlighter-looking mark on it. probably completely insignificant but thought I'd mention it.

To go back for a minute:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"Steven" is probably the "Steven Mae" mentioned in the news on the orbiconcorp home page - right?
Or did everyone already know that...
If it's true, are we any more enlightened?

Got mine today, standard brochure in envelope in envelope, on the brochure's front left side frame, there was an indentation, looked like this: probably nothing but i thought i'd mention it (and yes i looked, there was nothing else on the envelopes or brochure, except the already solved code.

Well, I give up on the brochure... I might re-submit my details in the Name That Rock thing, though, just in case my address didn't go through properly first time, or something.

Mine just came today - so they are obviously still trickling through the postal system.
