 		I vote for lock as well, we keep going over the same things, and the Our Colony blog has been mentioned at least 3 or 4 times, even though it was proved OOG a long time ago, and at least twice in this thread.

He made me a contributor as a show of faith. After I had turned him out as a fake, he promised not to mislead. If he had, after we had made our arrangement then I could have posted to his own blog to denounce him.

As far as blocking his IP address, yes it could be done by the forum admin, but as he has not posted here in any way since OC, I for one don't think it would be necessary.

 		I had no reason initially. Im poking around in it now, look at the last page, for game design it says @42entertainment.

I think there was a 4 and 2 hidden in the bunny wasnt there?

Also if you follow the name on the AI page it brings you to that persons web site which then has a link to a viral marketing campaign that was suppsedly used for the movie AI.

Also on Jeanine's page theres some interesting text in red that asks for her name etc.

Agreed this could all be just an old presentation that references what these types of marketing campaigns do.

theres a lot of '05' in it, not sure what that means but its too alte to get into it now. Ill pick this up tomorrow when im more conscious...

Yes. Jane works for 4orty2wo Entertainment, the company that did the Beast (the 2001 ARG promotion for the movie A.I.) and Ilovebees, the 2004 promotion for Halo 2.

She also frequently lectures and does presentations on ARGs and other types of immersive gaming, and uses both the Beast and ILB, as well as other games, as case studies.

I hadn't heard this, but I haven't really been keeping up with this thread. However, last I checked, the consensus was that this current thing with the bunny and the tree was from the designers of Our Colony, was it not?

If you look around her website, you'll find a lot of similar presentations (I'd also highly recommend her paper on the performance of belief in immersive play). And if Jane were part of the team behind this, I very much doubt she'd have an in-game link to her own website. Smile

 		I guess the bottom line is this. Is there more to discover online with the origen site or is it just a simple countdown that we must patiently wait for? Can it be a combination of both?

I know theres a few other clues hidden around the net that provide some info (i.e. THX's blog site) so i'm thinking that there is/will be more but not all of it is out there NOW.

My early guess is that online chat and messenging is core to this announcement (hopefully its only part of it). The reason i think this is for a few reasons:

1. What seems like a silhouette of the MSN messenger icon in the fruit of the latest image.
2. majornelson.com has linked to both google chat and messenger 7.5 almost inexplicably the last week or so. Google chat allows voice chat and the new messenger lets you leave voice messages for users, a feature discussed for 360 at some of the press conferences. Major Nelson is one of the key people on the xbox live team for MS, for those who dont know.

MY 'way out there' assumption is that google talk and MSN will interoperable and will be accessible via XBL (possibly all using a common back-end).

Hopefully there is more to this coutndown to just that becuase while i think it would be great and significant, i'm hoping for somehting bigger.
