Has the names of the stations changed? I can't remember. Am at work aswell, and left my bigger brain at home... Sad

Could it be some kind of hymn? "I was born free"?

LadyLovelylocks, i'm fairly certain those are the same station
names.. i went crzy attempting to match that map to a part
of the tube map..

i'm now checking back on the old maps from pre-game..
(see if i can remember)
we had the subway map with the x's on it and
we had the map with landmarks... anybody remember others?

Quote:
###?## - - - - - EYE CAN

they are definitely coaxing

i'm not sure about that "o" shape being
an "i" or and "eye"..
why not use a drawing of an eye?

It's not "I Can Hold The Whole World in my hands". Just got an error-message.

*edit - If you break the flash down, in one of the pics it looks like the girl is wearing contacts? maybe number one is lens?

(I still think its eye/I though)

*EDIT AGAIN! - Right really need to go but noticed that each of the dif pics have dif colours. Each railway line has a dif colour. And there are six lines. Throwing it out there, but dont solve whilst im out lol

Ouch. Saw that. Sorry. I have a deadline in twentyfive minutes so I'm typing faster than I think. Embarassed

Whew, I love all this action Smile

Ok, so here's a thought. We've been given an email address for keycodebotSPLATpemesent.com. Where else have we seen keycodes before?
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/files/keyunlockcode_548.txt came to my mind. I've sent 66609 90986. 00 as a code, and got an error, but I may take others and try.

This is getting exciting.

okay let's all breathe.. (really directed at myself)

here are the metrolines and colors codes

C-One line (pink)
Wand-Ton line (yellow)
C-two line (blue)
vert-low line (green)
Bustlepass (peach)
Capital line (grey)

we are looking for what? a six letter name of someone that
was born free? each letter being the one of the sides of
our box? and send that as the keycode?
*labfly blows into a paper bag to get breathing back to normal

(and the email gets delivered with "keykode".. the error, i believe is
just sending the wrong word or code or whatever)

She's got the whole world in her hands. Hopefully, she'll do something more impressive with it than that one kid on Boy Meets World.

My head hurts.

The only quote I know that has those words in it is from Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" ("I was born free as Caesar, so were you")..

But that's a longshot.

Some more stuff:

The cityinfo.php page is down now. Just an error page in it's place.

The travel info page has a hidden layer.. but the layer isn't defined yet, that I can find.

The cube is arranged like so:
image 2 is opposite image 4, image 1 is opposite image 3, and image 5 is opposite image 6. I may try to create a pic of the disassembled cube for reference.

So if colors are important, we're missing three. Image 3, the zig-zag, was yellow, image 4, the stick figures, was blue, and image 5, the dead face, was green. So, given that:

Image 3 corresponds to the Wand-ton line
Image 4 corresponds to the C-two line
Image 5 corresponds to the vert-low line
and presumably images 1,2, and 3 are some combination of pink, peach and grey

As far as your Caesar comment, maybe you're not far off? The daily quote IS Pemesent wasn't built in a day... we're definitely getting some references to Rome happening.

Something to keep in mind I think.

**UPDATE

Ok, something else. The hymn they point to is not the original version of the song (as indicated by Adapted Words.) Why would they point to this one? The verses that are different are the ones that say "The Victims and The Oppressors" and "The Government Officials"

I think this is significant, story-wise.

The fact of the day is Pemesent was built in a day. We all know the saying "Rome wasn't built in a day." So LadyLovelyLocks, you've probably nailed it on the head.

the first letter could totally be "C" (as in an eye can "see"), triple L

send it off and see what comes back! Very Happy

edit: also could it be as simple as they're telling us we're looking
at a caesar cipher? (i know we tried that every which way.. but
perhaps we missed something)

I also sent off "Caesar" as a keycode, no response, nor so far to any of my other keycode guesses, besides the first. Either each person only gets one guess (in which case we may be screwed :p ) Or, the bot may not be quite a bot.

I've been plowing through a ton of ideas with all of this, but so far nothing has yielded a concrete answer. I'll run through some, just in case it inspires the CORRECT idea in someone else.

1. [1][2][3][4][5][6]=------ means 6! and will give us a 6 figure answer. Unfortunately 6!=720 so not even close

2. I can't figure out any way that the colors are logically assigned, so can't logically determine where the 3 unknown colors belong. Does anyone see a pattern here that I've missed? Certainly likely.

3. Maybe the pictures tell us how to deal with the cipher. I've suggested that the x's in a circle might mean to take the part of the cipher between and with the two x's as a whole. The stick figure pic also shows this (take what's between the x's) but what it has to do with people/stick figures, I don't know. I have some ideas what the rest of the symbols mean in these terms, but it all seems a bit cockneyed and I'd rather keep the thoughts to myself unless I work something better out :p

4. ARRGH ... brain fried, need beer. I'm heading home from work. Beer shall be consumed. Maybe we should get an IRC chat going to brainstorm with. Anyone up for that?

Muddddddddddddy
