Trout me if you have to

It's late, so forgive me for spamming, but couldn't it be a Caesar-chiper? I know it doesn't really have anything to do with the rest of the clues, but still.

Hey not a bad though Lady, but a Caesar cipher ends up being a ROT13 cipher, and we've already tried that. They can be combined with a vignere, but we may be getting a little complex in that way. Still.. a good thought.

Got a #Zoe chatroom in unfiction.. join in for brainstorm fun if anyone can. Kjartan is there, but he's unresponsive as of now... lets lick this problem.. (although I know its getting late for you European types ... :p )

To help with the grasp at straws, in French, "Vert" means "green..."

Speculation

Hi everyone. Been following this for a while and haven't had much to chime in about. But this puzzle is really starting to bother me.

One thing I was thinking is maybe the O is not an O. Maybe it's from a different alphabet. When I saw the flash on the travel page the O reminded me more of something from the greek alphabet (theta, I believe. But I know it's definitely not that.) Going off the Rome tangent I did a search for the Roman alphabet and then realized my U.S. education failed me there Embarassed

Anyways... during the pregame the PM used a puzzle using a rune form alphabet. That puzzle was in the thread labeled SOLVED Puzzle CQt606£ and they are using a different alphabet for this puzzle also. Just a thought.

Then they decide to interrogate him under scourging, that is, to whip him until he confessed. But as they were binding him, Paul asks in 22:25, "Is it lawful for you to scourge a man who is a Roman citizen?" This caused a stir among the soldiers. They send for the commanding officer, who asks Paul if he is a Roman citizen. He replies, "I am." The commander said, "I bought my citizenship with a large sum of money." Paul replies, "I was born free."

Acts 22:28 (i believe)

Mentions I was born free...

*edit its acts 22:28

Hello, n00b here, just starting (hopefully) on zoe.

The main site page at pemesent.com has changed.

It now flashes up saying:

SIX sides to every STORY, ONE is true
IS IT REAL, ARE they THERE?
SHE IS ALIVE/dead does it matter?
PEMESENT? Is that around here?

So we are looking for one out of the 6 sides of the cube which is true?

Nothing else obvious seems to have changed...?

welcome, mishumi

thanks for jumping in.. interesting update
six sides to every story? one is true.. hmmm..

okay, well, the pic of the dead person isn't true (zoe is alive.. but i guess that doesn't matter too much as we move further away from "pre-game")
and maybe zoe, veo or leo aren't in the middle of it all?

this is all spec if we don't really know what these pics translate to..

Not sure what I clicked on on the www.pemesent.com home page to get to it, but take a look at http://www.pemesent.com/index2.php There's a different flash animation which I can't transcribe right now since I'm at work, but it appears to have some puzzle related clues (including the obvious "eye=I").

edit: removed a period from the URL Embarassed

Thanks Asimy,

the transcription is:

Trapped in her mind
A holiday we can't leave
The power she has
Pemesent is always Sunny
Eye=I

The flash file for that is located at http://www.pemesent.com/home3.swf.

Looks like it's an overlay that goes on top of the main page. Going to try to write down the phrases.

As they appear:
Quote:
TRAPPED IN HER MIND
A HOLIDAY WE CAN'T LEAVE
THE POWER SHE HAS
PEMESENT IS ALWAYS SUNNY
EYE=I

Ok, two thoughts....

Six Sides to Every Story, One is True.....

we had ###?## ------ EYE CAN

is that telling us the fourth side is true?

Ok, if the first side of the cube is EYE=I... how can that not be true? How can that, by itself, be false?

confusing confusing confusing

Any thoughts on the capitalization of the Words in the flash images?

Don't know if it's relevant but:
- the way to get from www.pemesent.com to index2.php seems to be the word 'STORY' (from "SIX sides to every STORY, ONE is true")
- also, the cityinfo.php page appears to be back with the green face and everything.

No-one's mentioned it yet: the picture of the cliff is back, spinning in the background (in place of the holiday picture) in index2.php, with 'PEMESENT?' flashing on top of it...

While we're grasping at straws here, how about this one:

When they say ONE is true.. maybe they don't mean one side is true, but the meaning of one side is literally the word "true", giving us 2, maybe 3 side meanings, I, True, and Can

Any thoughts?
