the next event in the Dates section is October 12th.
I guess we just wait until then?

I forgot about the dates. If that is the case and something does happen on October 12th it would be odd for the PM's just to start up again after leaving us with no updates for a while.

Bit of Spec here: The plan could be to bring the parents into the school as it is a Parent/Teacher day and the new headteacher will use this opportunity to hypnotise/brainwash them as well.

That sounds reasonable. Could it also be possible that the next step comes from Origen, not Celsus?
I wish we could get into contact with Greg again.. Confused

Sorry to double-post (I was a guest last time, now I'm logged in... couldn't edit), but I couldn't see this any where else...

With the gmail thing, celsus.school's security question is 'What was the name of your first teacher?'. Doesn't it seem a tad convenient that the security question matches up with the whole school theme?
Maybe we're meant to get into that gmail account?
For security answer, I tried Allenson and couldn't get anything, then Trebily and Infrusco to a slightly lesser extent, still nothing.
At this point, I'm thinking maybe it's related to whoever Greg had before Trebily. I'm looking through his blog again now to try to find his name...
Does anyone else think that this is worth looking into, or just a red herring? There's also several case / first/last name / Mr/No Mr / etc. combinations I haven't tried, if anyone wants to have a go.

It just seems so convenient that that's the security question... maybe someone should try to contact Sam, and see who his first teacher was?

Security Question

Convenient, yes... usefull, no... unfortunately, most e-mail accounts need you to provide them with another e-mail account... just in case you lose your password. That way, when you are asked the security question, they can send it to you at the e-mail address that you provided to them just for that purpose.

In short, even if we were able to somehow "guess" the teachers name, we still would not have access to the account that the password would be sent to.

/me goes to bark up another tree.

Drat.. too bad if you didn't have another e-mail account, or forgot that password too, huh...

EDIT: Okay, I know I was gunna give up on the e-mail idea, but I went back to the site to have another look at the code and everything to see if I could find another puzzle, and I noticed that the first teacher at Celsus School was Mr. Steven Balatro. I tried a few more combos with that, still nothing.

I also had a quick look around Origen... I don't think that's the next step. I put my money back on October 12th.

okay...

I said most... not all.

Second, it's now 13 days since we've seen any sign of life concerning this game. Greg has been pretty much unefffected by whatever was going on. So to have him, all of a sudden, be "out to lunch" would just be nuts. We would lose any information, besides updates (which there have been none), which we could use to figure out what is occuring or what happend to Greg, if that is the case here.

There has been no e-mail response, no reponses to comments on the blogs, or any "nudge" towards what it supposed to happen. If we are missing something, then you would expect a PuppetMaster to either "nudge" you or move on to something else and then go back to the point where we lost some information. Neither of which has occured.

You would also assume that a PuppetMaster who cares enough to check up on how people are viewing his or her game, whould check the boards and notice that we are screaming for something to happen.

Since the game is acting like it's dead, we can only assume that it is.

It appears that we will know for sure after October 12th. It's abnormal to have to wait that long for an update, but you never can tell. I just hope that there is a darn good reason during the post-game chat, if there is one.

Well, now that I've been lurking this topic for a while now, I decided that it'd be a good time to post; seeing as how there's little action and I want to bump it. Hopefully October 12th will be [badpun]fruitful[/badpun].

I still have (very faint, on life support) hope for two days from now...
(Today is Oct. 10th)

We'll see...
